The stone

"Lydia? It has been a long time hasn't it."exclaimed Fredrick
"Yes it most definitely has, a 150 years to be exact." Said Lydia
Simon looked confused. "Wait, you two, know each other? How?"
Lydia sat down across from Fredrick.
"We met 200 years ago, if you hadn't noticed, Fredrick here is a warlock, he's only 300 years old though. Pretty young in my books." Explained Lydia
Fredrick made a face at Lydia "And you're ancient in mine."
Simon still looked incredibly confused "Wait, you're a warlock? How did I not know that!"
"Well why do you think I look like a lizard!" Said Fredrick, throwing his hands up in the air.
"Well... I, you... Uh." Said Simon
Lydia and Fredrick both shook their heads
"Anyways, the reason I asked you to meet with me today is because I need you to go on a quest." Explained Fredrick
"A quest?" Asked Simon
"Yes, a quest." Said Fredrick as he threw a file at Simon
Lydia moved to look at the file Simon has been given.
"You're gonna send Simon to some random cave in Sweden to find a rare and secret amethyst stone ? Alone?" Asked Lydia
"Well yes, unless, you'd like to go with him?"
Simon looked at Lydia expectantly.
"Alright, I'll go." Said Lydia, there was no way that Simon would survive more than a day in those caves.
"Good, you leave tomorrow, I will be sending a car to Simons house tomorrow morning at 9 to bring you to the airport. " Said Fredrick "you are dismissed."
Simon and Lydia stood up and made their way out the door. When they left the building and got into the limo waiting for them outside Simon turned to Lydia
"Why do you think I can't survive in Sweden alone." Asked Simon
"It's not that I think you can't survive, it's more that, well the stone he's sending us after, it can't be found very easily." Said Lydia
"Oh..."
