Ginny was typing to her computer again later that night. Paige had picked out her perfect outfit and had chosen to do the party at their house because it’s huge and they’re rich. And because they can. Ginny was going to find her dress later. Right now she had to finalize her plans for the next day. It was Thursday night and she hadn’t heard anything from the mystery caller. She felt relieved. She had deliberately gone against the person’s orders and told her friends. Maybe it was just a joke. Nobody would really make her do something like that.
Ginny had finally finished sending out a mass email about the surprise for the next day. Her planning was done and she really had nothing to worry about. She walked over to her bookshelf. She grabbed the tiniest book and pulled it out. The shelf suddenly shifted left and revealed a staircase. She followed it down to the library which was located underneath the house. It wasn’t a secret library or anything. There was a way to get there from the first floor and by the elevator. The house was three stories so the elevator was necessary. The second floor included all of the bedrooms and any extra guest rooms. The bedrooms were huge so they filled the space. Also located on the second floor was the game room. It was filled with board games, video games and any other kind of games thinkable. The third floor was full of the fun things. Movie theatre with snack bar, bowling alley, laser tag, and of course karaoke. The first floor was the usual. It had the living room and kitchen and also a big room where the party would take place for the most part. Each floor also had its fair share of bathrooms. The backyard was home to a huge pool that had a deep end that reached down eleven feet. Next to it was a Jacuzzi that was also quite large. There were random sports courts as well even though the family was pretty physically challenged. They had a trampoline though that was definitely put into use.
The library wasn’t just Ginny’s special thing. It was available to everyone. Obviously Paige didn’t use it though. It was full of Ginny’s favorite thing in the world, books. So she utilized it the most, so she decided to get her own special way there. The library was huge. The basement wasn’t just the library though. It was also used for storage. The library was just its main focus. They had pretty much every book there. Even new releases Ginny was always up to date. She went over to the Young Adult section because those were what interested her most. She had read almost everything in it. From Hunger Games to Maximum Ride, she could tell you everything you needed to know about these books. Luckily, the next shipment of books had come in. She marched over to get the final book in the Divergent series, Allegiant.
Once she had her book she made her way back up the stairs. It was a pretty long way back to her room. Venturing down the steps was much easier. Exercise wasn’t Ginny’s strong suit even with the various sport activities that could be done in her backyard. Her room was in view once again and she entered with a huge smile. She placed the book back into its original positioning. The bookshelf returned to its normal placement as well. Ginny hopped back onto her bed where she happily opened her book and began reading it. She had to stop though because she kept getting distracted by her phone across the room. It was vibrating and flashing. She was too scared to go over there though. The phone finally stopped. She stared at it for a little longer. She placed the book down and hopped off her bed. She walked over to the phone. She hesitated to pick it up. Her heart was beating like crazy. Could it be the mystery caller... she thought. No… they would have called earlier in the week. There isn’t anyone really threatening me. This is no big deal.
She finally decided to pick up her phone. She pressed the button to check it. 2 Missed Calls. Her heart began to beat even faster. Before she could check who called her, she received another notification. 1 New Voice Message. She slowly clicked the button to check the voice message. Her body was totally still once she placed the phone next to her ear.
