Bzzt.

Bzzt.

Bzzt.

What was that sound? And why did my head hurt?

Bzzt.

I looked around an unfamiliar looking room. Where the hell was I?

Bzzt.

And what was that damn buzzing sound?

I looked over to floor and the pocket of my pants was glowing. Oh, my phone. Wait, what? I turned my head to see that someone was next to me in a bed that wasn’t mine, with their clothes off. Since my pants were off, I figured I realized that my clothes were off my body as well. What happened?

The phone finally stopped buzzing. I wondered who it was. First though, I wondered what was going on. There were a few guesses, but I didn’t want to jump to conclusions. I looked over to the guy in bed. He was blond, amazing abs and well, I think it’s a little inappropriate to discuss what lies beneath that. It was strange when I looked at him. My head hurt even more because he looked so familiar.

“Alec?”  I whispered. There wasn’t an answer. The guy was still asleep. I felt more pounding in my head once my phone started buzzing again. I wiggled out of the bed slowly and reached for my pants. I pulled out my phone and saw Trixie’s name. “Hello?”

“There you are, bitch! I’ve been calling you like crazy!” Trixie shouted from the other end. The pulled the phone away from ear a bit so that I would still be able to hear.

“Here I am. Wherever here is,” I said looking around the room, still confused.

“Yeah, where are you anyway? I feel bad for ditching you last night but that Baptist guy was speaking my language, if you know what I mean,” she giggled.

“No, I don’t actually. Plus, what kind of name is Baptist? I seriously can’t picture this guy.”

“Well, I left his place pretty early. I could send you a picture though. You still probably won’t be able to picture him though because it’s a picture of his-“

“TMI! TMI!” I interrupted.

“Sor, I won’t send the picture. I do feel bad though. The club stayed open pretty late though so did you say there? There are also some 24 hour like things too. Or did you take my advice?” she whispered.

“What do you mean advice?” I started to whisper as well.

“Did you meet a guy? Stay the night with him? Hmmm? Hmmm?”

“Um, uh.”

“You totally did! Good, I was worried for a second. I was thinking that if you didn’t do any of those things, then you ended up at some murderer or rapist’s house. That would look horrible on me. I mean, also it would suck because you could have been dead.”

“Thanks for the concern,” I giggled. “So, if you left that guy’s house early in the morning, then where are you now?”

“At this amazing café. I’ve been waiting for you to answer the phone or call me back because I didn’t know where the hell you were but this place is actually really nice. This place has made the most perfect soy latte at 120 degrees with an extra shot and cream with 10 pumps of vanilla and extra whip.”

“A what?”

“That’s not important. What’s important is you getting your ass down here.”
