Chapter 22

It was dark. Well, for the most part. Every once in a while a light would flash. Lights of all different colors. They were in rhythm with the music. The loud blaring music. It filled the entire room. It was inescapable. Not only that, but so were the people. Sweaty bodies everywhere. Pressed up against you. Leaving no room at all. I didn’t notice everything like this the first time. Maybe because I wasn’t on ecstasy last time.

Everyone started fist pumping as ‘Summer’ by Calvin Harris filled the speakers. I joined in because I really didn’t have any control at this point. There was something I was looking for though. Everywhere I turned I couldn’t find it. That didn’t stop me from penetrating the crowd to find it. Yeah, I know, I could have used a better word. Too bad.

Once I reached a familiar looking place I stopped. There was no way to call out for whatever I was looking for because the music was too loud. A tap on the shoulder gave me hope that I found it. I turned to see Xander. Just who I was looking for. Who could blame me? Xander was probably the hottest guy I had ever seen in my life. His sexy blond hair was all messy in just the perfect way. His flawless, perfectly tanned skin shone beautifully whenever the light hit him. When he smiled it was like nothing else existed. That alone was enough to get me to rip my clothes off. It seemed as though that might have happened already. For some reason I only had my black skinny jeans on. My shirt was nowhere to be found. Which brings me back to Xander. His shirt seemed to be missing as well. Adding to the list of things that make him seriously irresistible, let’s not forget about his amazing body. For a guy that wasn’t too big, yet not too skinny, he probably had the best body I had ever seen as well. His pecs were incredibly defined, his arms were nicely toned and incredibly distracting, and shall we discuss his abs. Is that an 8-pack that I spy?

Just looking at him, I imagined all of the things I could do to him. Or already have done. You’re probably still stuck on the part that we are both shirtless in some strange place. Xander and I came back to club that were first met actually exactly a week ago. Envy. Last time it was on a Valentine’s Day and since a lot of couples of all kinds would want to go clubbing, they allowed everyone to come in like a regular night. When it’s not Valentine’s Day though, it is gay night with Boston as a huge gay city due to Massachusetts being the first state to allow gay marriage, they dedicated the night to us. Yes, that also included lesbians too. The place was mostly packed with guys though because gay guys were more into partying and being slutty than girls.

In a way that explains the loss of clothing items. Gay guys in this city seemed to be willing to jump into anyone’s pants so about an hour ago, Xander and I lost our shirts when some guys came up to us. Nothing else happened obviously. The point of Xander and I coming together to the club again, was because we were together. My judgment was pretty cloudy at this point. I had a lot to drink and I was also on drugs.

Oh right. Which brings me to that. Yeah, I mentioned that I happened to be doing the big E tonight. Ecstasy. I’ve never tried it before obviously because up until recently, I didn’t have a social life. I was surprised that my new bestie, Trixie hadn’t introduced me to it. It wasn’t a planned thing though. Xander and I just decided to hang out again in Boston. He wanted to finally hang out in Leighton with me but I actually suggested coming back to the club. He thought that was a great idea since it was gay night. He had totally forgotten about it since most of the time he had to work those nights. So we went and like immediately after we entered, someone offered it to us. Knowing me, on the inside I was reluctant and Xander was extremely supportive and said I didn’t have to if I didn’t want to. Apparently he had done it before and it was a little insane but it wasn’t too bad. It was my decision though. This new Cole, whoever he was had been the one to decide to do ecstasy tonight. I had no idea what had come over me. I have no idea what was coming over me these past two weeks. There was nothing I could do to change it.
