“Wake up!”

“Ahhhhh!” I screamed, falling out of bed once again. I crawled back onto my bed and looked over. My mother was smiling. “What do you want?”

“To give you a heart attack,” she responded.

“Mission accomplished. Now why did you wake me up?” I interrogated.

“You’re going to be late for your trip. You overslept. I had to wake you up,” she answered.

“What time is it?” I asked.

“8:40, you are getting picked up at 8:45, right?”

“Yeah.”

“Well, you have five minutes to get ready! You already finished packing, right?”

“Yeah, I did it when I got home last night.”

“Alright, then get ready!”

“Wow, someone’s eager to get me out of the house. Any particular reason?”

“Nope, just want my son to have a great spring break,” she said, hurrying out my door. I was too tired to analyze any of that. Plus, what she did while I was gone was her business, not mine. What I did while I was gone was none of her business either.

I decided that it would be a good idea to start getting ready. It didn’t normally take me long to get ready. Since I had packed a bunch of clothes already, I luckily had left out something to wear. One of my pairs of black skinny jeans, my black converse and plain white short sleeved shirt.

Now I don’t know if you are wondering why I am so tired. I mean, I am used to getting up every morning before seven so it would seem like a breeze to get up for today. Unfortunately, I spent most of last night staring at my phone. I was waiting and hoping for anything from Xander. I don’t know why I cared so much. I tried not to, but that didn’t work. I couldn’t fall asleep because I was too busy thinking about him and what he wanted to tell me. Damn, there is seriously nothing more dangerous than being alone with your thoughts at night. They take you to scary places. In the end, I probably didn’t fall asleep until almost three. I will most definitely be sleeping on the plane ride.

Speaking of, I ran down stairs with my entire luggage as soon as it was 8:45. I passed my mom along the way and she forced a hug onto me. “Alright mom, I gotta go,” I said, trying to get away.

“Oh fine,” she said, letting me go. “Just remember that mommy loves you! Also, remember to call me every single day!”

“Mom!” I shouted, approaching the door.

“Sorry,” she giggled, as I opened the door. I stopped and turned to her for a second.

“Uh, mom,” I uttered, as she started to turn away. “Thanks. For everything. I love you.”

“Love you too. Now go!”

“Okay bye!”

As I exited my door, I looked over and saw Amy doing the same. We always have perfect timing on everything. Once we met up, Paige’s limo rolled up and parked in front of us. Sorry, Paige and Ginny’s limo driver. Sometimes I forget that she is also rich. Anyways, their limo driver, Winston… (or was it Charles?) One of those generic limo driver names; opened the trunk and put our stuff inside. Is it weird that I didn’t even know that limos had trunks?

After our luggage was put away, the driver opened up the door for us to enter. I don’t exactly remember the order that everyone was getting picked up so I didn’t know who would be in here already. Judging from the loud cheering though, it was lot. I looked around and saw everybody else inside. Amy and I were last.
