I could hear the screeching of the wind. It wasn’t a terribly cold day, the sun was out. The leaves were rustling in the distance. The sky had a few clouds. It was actually a really beautiful day. Perfect actually.

He grabbed my hand. Electricity shot through my veins. Being with him was the most amazing thing I could think of. Lying on the grass, staring at the sky and cracking horrible jokes. There was nothing more that I could ask for.

“I’m cold,” Alec uttered. I looked over at him and he stared at me. After a second, he cuddled up next to me. I wrapped my arm around him.

“Is that better?” I asked, with a goofy smile.

“It’s perfect,” Alec smiled back. He went in for a kiss. I returned it. As his lips touched mine, I could feel that electricity again. I didn’t want to stop.

We eventually did though. I mean, it wasn’t like we couldn’t just do it again later, and after that. And again.

We both stared up at the sky. It was an early November afternoon. At this time, Alec was the only person I was talking to. I had completely pushed Amy and everyone else aside. Except that I still got rides from Amy. Which was weird, since we didn’t talk at all. The only person I really cared about now was Alec. Could you blame me? Alec was everything that I had ever wanted. I knew in my heart that it was wrong to ice everyone out, but I did anyways. Somehow I thought that doing it a second was a good idea too. This year was full of weirdness. I didn’t realize it at this point though. All I knew at this point was that Alec was the love of my life.

“What does that cloud look like to you?” Alec inquired.

“Hmmm,” I responded, studying the cloud. It was an odd shape. There wasn’t really anything I saw in it. I had a feeling that Alec wanted to share what he saw though. “I don’t know actually. What about you?”

“A penis,” he quickly replied. I glared at him. He had the most adorable smirk on his face.

“I knew you’d say that.”

“Well, what did I say last time? There would be more penis clouds! And there are!”

“You’re an idiot.”

“What kind of idiot?”

“An adorable wanted.”

“That’s what I thought,” he laughed. I laughed as well and we locked eyes once again. “You know what else we discussed last time?”

“What?” I asked, a little scared. I could feel his hands starting to move around my body.

“Tickling is your weakness!” he shouted, tickling me to death. Damn it, he remembered.

“Stop! No!” I helplessly screamed. To other people at the park, it might have sounded like I was being sexually assaulted.

“Okay, fine. I’ll stop.”

“You want something in return?”

“Yes, I require your lips. Please place them on mine.”

“If that’s the price I have to pay,” I giggled, moving in to kiss him. Once we parted, he had a strange look on his face. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong,” he answered.

“Are you sure?”

“I’m sure. Nothing is wrong. I was just thinking.”
