- Elijah's POV -

A day had passed since the police assembly which meant both of the schools were back to their usual timetables and classes, hooray!

I love school a lot because I want to learn new things everyday, if I don't then I call the day unsuccessful. Yesterday I learned not to smoke in a school playground because the grass will light on fire..

Even though I love going to school and learning, I am surrounded by a bunch of idiots who I love very much. Most of my friends parents bought their way into the boarding school which means they don't really give a shit if they do well or not, they're 'rebellious teenagers'.

"Let's ditch school today, we can have a day just for the gang!" Joshua shouted while throwing his arm around me, I stared at him in anger as I had mentally prepared myself for the test we would be doing in History today.

"Don't give me that look, you know you want to" Joshua winked and me and I rolled my eyes, he knows that means yes. The rest of the gang showed up in their swimming trunks and crazy coloured sunglasses, I knew there and then that they were all insane.

"Are we going to the beach or something?" I asked them while pointing to how ridiculous they looked, Harrison shook his head and handed me a pair of luminous yellow sunglasses so I could match with him. I put them on and they all began to laugh at me.

"Take us to that lane you always talk about, we can swim in the river!" Joshua said, I refused to tell them that the river would only reach their ankles.

There was me, Joshua, Lucas, Ryan, Nicholas, Michael, Harrison and Ricky walking along the side of the road in sunglasses while singing dumb songs. Do they really think we won't be noticed? We're trying to bunk off school while looking like a bunch of idiots!

"Where is Matty?" I asked the gang, it was weird of us all to be together without one other member. All of my friends were so alike, carefree and fucking crazy. I was completely different, I was the outcast of this group but I still got on with them well. I was the one who cared about things in the group like my future and their safety, most of the time I think none of them have brains or common sense.

"We knew you would wanna join us today so he ran on to make the place look cool for our arrival" Lucas explained with a smile, I'm not expecting much from Matty. We made it to the beginning of the lane, the boys began to get hyped and excited about the day ahead. I felt nervous about missing school.

Nicholas and Lucas began playing music out of a speaker as we walked, shit music by the way. They are twin brothers and look exactly alike, they like all of the same things too which is weird except Nicholas is much louder and Lucas is really quiet.

We noticed Matty standing in the middle of the pathway not far ahead, what the hell is he doing?

"Matty?" Joshua shouted, he looked back at us and told us to be quiet. Nicholas turned off his music and he approached him quietly, completely unaware of what was going on.

"Is something wrong?" I asked Matty once we got to him, he was staring over at the water where two girls were making out. The gang including me began to shout at him and shove him around for being disgusting.

"You're such a pervert Matty!" Michael shouted while shaking his head, the two girls realised they were being watched and began to get dressed again. How awkward..

"I'm not a pervert! How could I just walk passed something like that?!" Matty shouted while facing us, suddenly one of the girls approached us and we all went silent.

It was Jade.. That's when my anger started to build up.

"Jade?! Are you kidding me?" I shouted as she walked up to us, she crossed her arms and stared at all of the boys.
