Oh hello one shot book that I haven't updated in like a month! This one shot includes a flashback, which is written in italics. But in between, there are present thoughts. Which is normal writing.

VIOLETTA CASTILLO

"Violetta—" My head shot up at the mention of my name, before I remembered Ms Cararra was reading out the pairs for the Business Studies assignment.

"—and Diego,"

Oh damn.

-

Diego and I weren't friends anymore, or well technically speaking we were never friends. We kinda just skipped to the whole dating and ultimately falling in love with each other part. Even though I was the only one who fell in love. Well he tried to convince me before that he oh so loved me.

I actually believed him -which was the worst part- for a long time -maybe a little of an exaggeration there- until that night, I pretty much lost all hope in him.

Diego was a new student six months ago -so yes, this took in place in a span of six months- and I was set up with him, to show him around the school because I was apparently the best in my class which I firmly disagreed with considering I was practically failing P.E.

Anyway, we got to know each other. He wasn't a bad boy necessarily, but he wasn't a chirpy person either. He was complicated. It had taken a month for him to even warm up to me. But it was like once that one rock was removed the water just came pouring out. That's when I felt a connection between us.

I only had one friend -Francesca Caviglia- and she had told me that we were opposites—and obviously opposites attract. He was the night, and I was the day. But it was what made us, us.

The next four months were great, don't get me wrong. They were actually the best four months of my entire life. I had a best friend and a boyfriend. And I was getting a solid C– in P.E. Sure it was a downer considering the rest of my marks were As to A+'s but I wasn't about to complain.

Until that night. The events of that fateful night were still fresh in my mind despite the fact it happened a month ago.

"I'm just going to look for Francesca," I tell Diego and he nods, his eyes not really meeting mine.

It was a huge party. People from Diego's former school were going to be there, which considered his constant rubbing of his sweaty hands against his denim jeans, and the noticeable sighs. But I didn't question him, I knew that if he anted to talk he would.

"Okay, you can come find me, I can't wait to introduce you to some of my friends," He replies, and red lightly paints my cheeks.

I was naive. I honestly believed that he would be excited to tell his friends about me, that he would be excited to introduce us to each other. That Diego wasn't embarrassed of Violetta. And to this day, sometimes I wonder if it was actually me.

I made my to the kitchen, where I thought I saw black hair. I bump into somebody through my rush, and the guy turns around. He had blonde hair, and freckles lightly dusted his face but in an attractive way.

"Hi there," He smiles, showing his dazzling white teeth. his hands placed themselves on my waist, and I squirmed.

"Sorry not sorry, but just no. Get away from me," I tell him, prying his hands off my body.

"Have you seen me? Why would you say no to this?" He asks in disbelief.

"Frankly, you're not my type. Stupid impulsive guy, such a turn-off," And I walked away.
