A Pen And A Paper (Clechi) /30/

Pairing is Clari and Mechi. Just in case I got the ship name wrong.

Mechi P.O.V.

"No put the banner higher, some people are tall, you don't want them walking into it, then they will pull it down, then they might fall, they will fall onto the table, which had the food, the food would mess everything-" I started rambling on and on before Lodo stopped me.

"Mechi, calm down," Lodo says in a calming voice.

"Basically, the whole party will be ruined if you out the banner low!" I conclude.

Diego and Jorge, who had been hanging the banner nod and put it higher. I take a deep breath and look at my clipboard. So many things still have to be done.

"Mechi, I can see you freaking out, calm down, everything is going to fine," Lodo reassures me,

Who could blame me for being so well NOT calm. This was Clari's goodbye party, My Clari. She had gotten a role in this new series after Violetta had ended. She was leaving soon, and I wanted to have a big party for her, she deserved it, she was a great friend, she was kind, she had an amazing voice. She is an amazing girlfriend, and I want to do something  for her for a change.

"I will take that," Lodo says snatching my clipboard  away from me, "and you, just relax," Lodo finishes giving me a smile.

I smile gratefully at my best friend and walk to the couch. I was very grateful to everybody who had come to help. Diego and Jorge, it meant a lot since they were getting married soon (couldn't stop myself) and they had to plan their wedding. Lodo and Tomas had just come back from their honeymoon. Alba and Cande were the first people here,mr hey were Clari's best friends. They had woken me up early.

But the one person missing was Clari. Of co rise I never expected her to be setting up her own goodbye party. But she had been gone for 2 days, just sorting out her house and meeting the directors of the movie she was going to be in. Clari came back today, then will leave  tomorrow evening, and I won't see her for 2 years. I knew Clari and I would manage a long distance relationship. Our love was strong enough to survive that. We loved each other, that was what mattered.

"Mechi, help?" Lodo asks me pulling me back into reality.

"Sure," I reply getting up.

We went to the kitchen and got all the food needed for the party. It was all of Clari's Favourite food and deserts. I also  had some macaroons, since that is what we had on our first date. Lodo and I take the trays, cupcake holders and plates in our hands and walk back to the 'party' room. We set it over a Violetta tablecloth and put in a good place, I needed everything to be perfect.

I grab my clipboard back from Lodo and tick off food. I look up and see Diego and Jorge climbing down the step ladder and tick off banner. Rugg puts the drinks on a separate table, with cups and I tick off drinks. Soon everything was ticked off, except Clari. Diego Ramos was our lookout. I felt a bit weird having him here, since he had recent,y dated Clari, before I did, but I couldn't stop him from coming to her goodbye party.

"She's coming!" Diego Ramos whisper yells.

We all hide somewhere and we hear the door open. Once we've heard it close we switch the lights on and yell,

"SURPRISE!" Clari stumbles backwards and I run up to her.

"Surprise," I whisper as I take her in for a hug, Clari gives me a short kiss on the lips.

"Let's get this party started!" Clari yells.

I take Clari's hand and lead her to outside to the garden. We sit on the chairs we had near the pool. I put my head on Clari's shoulder and she puts her head on mine.

"I have something for you," Clari says softly.

I pick my head off her as she takes something out her bag. She handed it to me in a small gift bag. I thank her and take the goods out the bag. It was a notebook wrapped in brown leather, it had Mercedes  across the front. Attached to it was a pen.

"Thank you!" I say giving her a kiss.

"You don't know what it's for do you?" Clari asks giggling as I shake my head.

"When I'm gone, you write in the book. It will be like telling me, and when I come back, I can read it, and we can talk about it. You can also write letters to me, and then tear the page out and mail it," Clari explains.

"I love it," I say holding it to my chest.

~Two Weeks Later~

Dear Clari. Yesterday I stayed at Lodo again. Tomas has gone on a business trip for a month, so she will come to me. Lodo has really helped me a lot through this. I can't believe it's only been two weeks. It feels like years. I miss you a lot. Diego and Jorge have scheduled a wedding date. Lodo and I are 'flower girls' :-) Rugg proposed to Cande. That was yesterday. Cande screamed through the phone, so I have a slight hearing problem. I hope I can talk to you tomorrow Clari, we couldn't talk today and yesterday because of shooting. I miss hearing your voice. I love you Clari. I really do. <3
