"Oh my gosh he's staring at you again," My best friends Camila whispers from across the table.

I discreetly look behind me, and sure enough see Federico Paccini looking at me from two tables back. Federico notices me looking and smirks, and I flush quickly turning back. Camila giggles.

"Why aren't you two dating?" Camila wonders dreamily and I scoff.

"Because he's a jerk with no heart, and not too mention stupid!" I reply and I feel a presence behind me.

"I'm devastated you see me that way babe," A husky voice says.

Of course, when I insult him he has to be behind me. Just my luck. Why does this always happen to me?

"I-I well..." I stammer.

"Paccini!" One of his friends yell.

I silently thank him, as Federico walks back, after squeezing my shoulders. I ignored those odd tingles I got.

Federico had been flirting with me for the last week. I believed that all he wanted was a new girlfriend for a week. He never kept anybody longer than that. Just like his best friends Leon and Diego.

Leon was currently dating Francesca, who Diego dated the week before, and Diego was dating Violetta, who Leon dated the week before. The three boys were idiots, but still, they ruled our high school.

"I say you should so give him a chance," Camila states and I shake my head.

"Not going to happen! And besides, you only want me to so that you can hit it off with Maxi." I narrow my eyes accusingly, and she flushes.

"He's hot," Camila shrugs, "and so is Federico," she adds wriggling her eyebrows.

"Camila shut it," I scold.

For the last few hours of the day, Federico and I were in the same class. With Camila and Leon. Camila constantly sent me hearts made with her hands, whenever she saw Federico look -or smirk- at me.

Finally the day ended, and I practically ran out the classroom. I walk to the parking lot and slip into my car. I try to turn it on, but unfortunately my car doesn't start. I start hitting around, and take the key out and put it back in multiple times.

"Oh please not now," I complain.

"Problem with your car babe?" An all too familiar voice asks, and a shadow casts over my steering wheel.

"N-no," I attempt to lie. Key word, attempt.

"I've got a car, and a free passenger seat," Federico winks.

I can't believe I'm actually considering this. I need a ride home, and my car that was usually amazing was now the reason I'm going to make the worst decision ever. Getting into a car, with one of the terrible three.

"Fine," I finally agree.

I reluctantly get out of the car, and take my bag with me. Federico grins at me, and closes the door once I'm out.

"What a gentlema," I say dryly, and he grins nonetheless.

"Yep, you made the right choice babe," Federico winks and I internally scoff.
