"Good Morning Julia!" I called chirpily to the librarian.

She waved back at me with a smile. The Library was my favourite place in the whole world. Being surrounded by books, nobody can bother you! It's so quite and peaceful, besides if you are loud Julia will kick you out!

Reading was a way for me to escape the world. I would go to Hogwarts or I would go to Tartarus. The Library was a door and the books were the key. [does that make sense??]

I grab one of my favourite books, 'The Great Gatsby' [I think that's how you spell it??] I just loved the way it was written. There was so much description that you would really feel like you were actually there.

I sit down in my usual spot, a beanbag chair that had some sun but it wasn't too hot or cold. Nobody else sat there, it was like it was reserved for Violetta Castillo! But I was there pretty much everyday.

I feel the presence of somebody next to me, as the person casts a shadow over my book. I silently curse that this person has interrupted my reading but I look up anyway. There was a boy with brown hair, and I think hazel eyes. The boy looks up.

"Nice book" He comments and I stare at him.

Normally people didn't talk to me in the Library. Nobody talked period. I tilt my head and he looks up at me.

"English?" He asks checking if I spoke English. I snap out of my trance, I must've looked like an idiot.

"Yes, um thanks" I reply and he smiles lightly.

"Leon Vargas" He introduces.

"Viloletta Castillo" I look down at what he was reading and see what he was reading.

"Sherlock Holmes And The Valley Of Fear! I've been looking for that for ages!" I say my voice rising. I recover myself and smile sheepishly.

"I found it on the counter and asked Julia if I could read it" Leon explains.

"Sherlock Holmes is my favourite series" I tell him and he nods before whispering 'mine too'

"The movies never captured the true essence of the books, I couldn't stand the movies!" Leon says [i don't think I'm making sense. . .]

The test of the time we had spent talking about our favourite books and just getting to know each other. I had to admit it was fun. Though I never expected anything like that to happen in the Library. And I'm sure we were making noise but Julia let us. We had both taken out 139 books and read 363 books. It was quite funny.

"Okay guys I'm locking up!" Julia calls looking up from her half moon glasses.

I never even noticed that Leon and I were the only ones still left here. We nod and we get ready to leave. I put my book in my bag after stamping it and writing my name down. Leon then comes up to me.

"You can take it if you want" Leon says offering the book.

"Thank you!" I say gratefully and Leon hands me the book.

I record that I took it and bid farewell to Julia promising I'd be back tomorrow. As soon as I'm out I open up the book. But the first thing I see is a a number. A phone number to be exact. There was also a name.

I smile to myself. Maybe it was for me? I run to my house and drop everything and pick up the phone. I dial the number and it rings.

"So I see you found the note" Leon says in a teasing voice.

"Yep, why did you put it?" I ask him curiously.

"Well I wanted to know if you would like to go on a date with me?" Leon asks his voice getting shaky. I hold the phone to my chest as I scream in happiness.

"Okay!" I say happily.

"I will meet you outside the Library at 7" Leon says giving me the details.

"Okay bye!" I rely and I hear him mutter a bye before I hang up.

Eek!!! I got a date with a guy who I have so much in common with!!!! Eek!!!!!
