Chapter 4: Angelic Face

Angelic Face

"Miss, papasok ka ba o hindi?!" Bulyaw ng isang matabang pulis na napadaan sa harap ko.

I've been standing in front of the police station for almost fifteen minutes now. I've been contemplating if I should tell the police what happened last night with me and with the other guy. I don't know what happened to the guy but I'm sure he's not dead yet.

Kagat-kagat ko pa ang kuko ko habang nag-iisip nang mapadaan ulit ang naturang pulis. Nakapamewang ito na humarap sa akin.

"Ano ba talaga miss? May i-rereport ka ba? Kanina ka pa diyan eh!" Galit na tanong nito.

Naiirita na siguro ito sa pagmumukha ko dahil ito na ang pang limang beses na nadaanan niya ako sa tuwing lalabas siya.

"Ano po kasi..."

"Ano nga?!"

"Ah eh... wala po pala. Pasensiya na po sa abala." Paumanhin ko na tinalikuran na ito.

Galit naman itong pumasok sa station. Mas maganda sigurong itago ko nalang ang nangyari kagabi. Tutal wala namang nangyari sa aking masama. Although they took me without my own will, they never did anything to hurt me. Sa katunayan ay ako pa ang nakasakit kay Jaxxon. Naku, kamusta na kaya ang braso niya? Base sa dami ng dugo mula sa sugat niya ay mukhang malala nga.

Kung magsusumbong ako sa pulis ay baka mas lalo pang lumala ang problema. I know Jaxxon had been in prison several times and every time, he manages to bail himself out just after a few days. It's not like he killed anyone, he was put into jail because of street fighting and some riots.

So even if I tell the police what happened, he'll just find a way out and torment me for what I've done and I don't want that to happen. May kasabihan nga sa school tungkol sa kanya. Whatever happens, do not entangle yourself with Jaxxon Sparrow. Just his mere presence screams trouble.

Looking at my watch, I still have an hour before my first subject starts so I decided to just let it go and attend school like what I normally do. I'll just act like nothing ever happened. While walking away, a police car stopped just meters away from me.

My eyes widened when I saw Jaxxon being dragged by two policemen beside him. His hands were cuffed behind him. His lips was bleeding and he have a bruise in the cheek but his face showed no emotion. My eyes found a large scar in his arm which I believe is my own doing.

Nanatili lang ako sa kinatatayuan ko habang papalapit sila sa akin. What is he doing here? Hindi ko naman siya sinumbong ah.

Nang mapansin ako ni Jaxxon ay napatigil ito sa paglalakad at tinapunan ako ng tingin at saka umismid. He studied me up and down and smirked before he was pushed forward by one of the police to keep walking.

Napalunok nalang ako habang pinanood silang makapasok sa estasyon.

After that incident in the station, I wasn't in the right state of mind all day. Sure, I attended my classes but my mind is thinking about Jaxxon. Base sa pasa sa mukha nito ay malamang nakipagbugbugan ito.

Habang naka-upo sa isa sa mga bench sa loob ng campus ay napansin ko ang isang lalaking palingun-lingon habang naglalakad na para bang takot. I've got a good look at his face and it took me a second to realize he was the same guy from last night. The poor guy who was tied in the wheel.

Dali-dali akong lumapit dito at hinawakan ang bakilat nito. "Excuse me."

Halata ang pagkagulat at takot sa mukha nito ngunit nawala din ito nang makita ako. I'm probably not the person he was expecting.

"What do you need?" Masungit na tanong nito habang ina-adjust ang suot na glasses.

"I saw you last night."
