Jail. Again.

Ariana's POV

"Nasan si Jaxxon?" Tanong sa akin ni mama pagpasok ko sa shop.

I only shrugged my shoulders and greeted a customer that entered the shop. "Yes maam? Can I take your order?"

My mom and Vanilla exchanged a look but I ignored them. My mom didn't push the topic of Jaxxon and started tending to the other customers inside the shop which I'm thankful for.

Lumapit sa akin si Vanilla at siniko ako. "What happened?"

Sighing, I turned around to face my sister. "I told him the truth."

She gasped covering her mouth. "Really? What did he say?"

I shrugged my shoulders for the second time today. "I don't know. we had a fight the other day and I told him he doesn't really love me . He just walked away."

"You know what, sis? I think it's better that you told him the truth. Hindi ba mas maganda na rin 'yon na hindi ka na niya susundan? A lot of things changed because of him."

I only nodded my head. Maybe it was better but my mind says I miss him. Noong isang araw nang umalis siya ay gusto ko siyang habulin at humingi ng tawad. But then my feet were planted to where I stood as he slowly vanished from my sight. I haven't seen him in three days. Sometimes I find myself looking outside my window whenever I heara loud car passing by but it was never him. He's never been home since the day we fought.

Pati ako ay naguguluhan na rin sa sarili ko. I remember screaming at him, telling him I am so tired of him but here I am wondering where he is.

"Nami-miss mo siya noh?" Siko sa akin ni Vanilla.

"Hindi noh!"

She smirked while looking at me knowingly. "You like him, arent you?"

"Ano ba? Everyone knows I like Alexis. Bakit ko naman magugustuhan ang Jaxxon na 'yon? Mas maganda nga ngayon dahil wala na siya sa buhay ko. Wala nang gulo. Tahimik na ang lahat. At wala na akong paki-alam sa kanya."

"Sus. Dami mong satsat sis. Isang tanong lang naman ang sinabi ko." She said chuckling before walking away.

I spent the rest of the weekend at the coffe shop. Sunday afternoon nang mapagpasyahan kong umuwi sa bahay ko. Habang pinaparada ang sasakyan sa garage ko ay hindi ko mapigilang mapatingin sa bahay ni Jaxxon. Wala paring kahit na anong bakas nito.

Ngayon ang petsa kung saan tuluyan nang mawawala ang bisa ng potion. Siguro ay nanggagala-iti na iyon sa galit. He must've thought I fooled him. Ilang oras kaya ang bibilangin ko bago ako nito sugurin? Jaxxon never hurt me once when he was still under the spell. Pero ngayon ay hindi na ako magtataka kung magagawa nito akong saktan. He is the famous Jaxxon Sparrow after all.
I was about to open the door when I received a call.

"Hello?"

"This is Alexis. Naistorbo ba kita?" Sambit nito sa kabilang linya.

"Hindi naman."

"Ang tagal na kasi 'nung last time na lumabas tayo. Would you like to go on another date with me?"

Namula naman ako nang maalala ang first date namin. "Sure, but promise not to take me in a steak house."

He chuckled, "I'll keep in mind that you hate steak."

"Correction, the steak hates me." Sambit ko habang tumatawa. "I suggest no wearing any white shirt at baka matapunan nanaman kita ng kung ano."

"It's okay. I don't mind getting shirtless in front of you."
