A Sick Sparrow

Ariana's POV

"What the hell is happening to him?!" Exclaimed one of Jaxxon's friends as they all helped Denver in lifting Jaxxon inside his car.

"He almost killed us! Are you okay, Ariana?" Nag-aalalang tanong ni Denver sa akin nang maipasok nila sa sasakyan ang walang malay na si Jaxxon.

I can only managed to nod as I haven't recovered from the incident a while ago.

"Are you sure you're not hurt anywhere?"

"No I'm... I'm fine." Bulong ko.

"Bro, I'll take Arrow home." Anunsiyo ni Denver sa mga kaibigan nito.

"You sure?"

"Yeah. Go ahead, ako na ang bahala kay Arrow." Denver assured and fished our Jaxxon's key from his pocket and opened the door for me. "Come on, Ariana. Ihahatid muna kita bago ko ihatid itong mokong na to."

Hindi na ako umimik at sumakay nalang. Pinaandar na ni Denver ang sasakyan at nagmaneho na.

"Fuck!" Denver suddenly cursed when he remembered something. "Hindi na pala nakatira sa village si Arrow. I have know idea where he lives right now. Shit!"

"Uhm... I know where he lives." Bulong ko.

Gulat itong tumingim sa akin.l naghihintay ng paliwanag ko.

"He lives across my house." Paliwanag ko.

"Wow, he's crazy. He bought a new house para lang malapit siya sayo. I guess he truly likes you." Sambit ni Denver.

Nakonsensiya naman ako. Kung alam lang niya na hindi totoo ang pagtingin ni Jaxxon sa akin. Kung alam lang niyang dahil lang iyon sa potion.

"Believe me, he doesn't like me."

"He does. I'm certain. I've never seen him give his attention to any girl before. Yes, he used to sleep around but that's it. He's never been with a girl more than a night." Paliwanag ni Denver. "Ikaw palang Ariana ang hinahabol niya ng ganito. Tell me, ikaw ba ang rason kung bakit nagkakaganito ngayon si Arrow?"

Natahimik ako ng ilang segundo. Ayokong aminin pero alam ko sa sarili ko na ako nga talaga ang dahilan.

"I-yes."

Denver looked at me waiting for me to explain.

"Ano kasi... I have a boyfriend. Syempre hindi naman pwedeng-"

"Okay, now I know why." Sambit ni Denver na tumango-tango. "But I know Arrow, he'll never give up. If he wants something, he'll have it no matter what. And if he wants you, he'll have you."

I gulped and looked behind me where Jaxxon is sound asleep. Yeah, he wants me for now. Sa susunod, kakamuhian na niya ako.

"Turn right. The blue house." Turo ko sa bahay ni Jaxxon na katapat lang din ng bahay ko.

Denver parked the car in Jaxxon's garage and I helped him carry Jaxxon. Naka-akbay sa balikat namin ni Denver si Jaxxon at inana-akay ito papasok ng kwarto niya.

"Mother fucker, he's heavy." Reklamo ni Denver nang maihiga namin si Jaxxon sa kama niya.

Nagring ang phone ni Denver at sinagot niya ito palabas ng kwarto ni Jaxxon.

"Hello? Yeah? Alright, I'll be there." Sambit ni Denver bago pinatay ang tawag. He run his fingers through his hair and faced me. "I'm sorry, Ariana but I really have to go. There's an emergency."

"Okay... sige ako nang bahala kay Jaxxon." Sambit ko tutal ako naman ang may kasalanan kung bakit ganito ang kalagayan ni Jaxxon ngayon.

"You sure? I mean... alright. Thanks, Ariana."
