Prologue

Macey Willow has always kept to herself, even with her ravishing looks. Her brown hair flows around her elbows, her innocent blue eyes could pull in a guy in a heartbeat, her lips as pink as a rose and her skin as soft as feathers. Her thin frame set in with her average height, she was neither too short nor too tall; which helped her fit in to her relief. Macey didn’t like to be noticed, being hidden was what she did best; and noticing her was like chucking a knife at her heart. Yet, still the boys looked her way as she walked into the club and headed straight to the bar, her eyes wondering.

She couldn’t seem to find who she was looking for, she supposed they had found out she planned on showing up; that maybe they fled. This didn’t even worry her though; she knew she would find them sooner or later. She always finds what she is looking for with a strong sense of will and power.

Instead of walking out she sat down at the bar and ordered a beer, she didn’t see the point of leaving since she had taken the effort to get here. So with that thought she sat and drank as three guys approached her. Macey was 17, and yet she had the looks of a woman.

“Hey there” One of the guys said, he came off as sleazy and ill-mannered as he pulled a chair right next to her and sat down on it, with one hand resting on her thigh. He wore a flat cap, though she could see his brown and lustful eyes wondering over her body, and his dark black hair. The two other guys wore wicked grins across their faces but Macey didn’t care, she actually smiled at them; completely amused and disgusted at the same time.

“What you doing by yourself over here babe?” another guy grinned, he had blonde hair and didn’t even attempt to hide his green eyes, while the other man looked almost exactly alike him; besides his navy blue eyes and the tattoo of a tiger on his neck.

Macey just chuckled as she threw her head back and devoured the last of her beer; she placed the glass on the table and glared at the man’s hand, which was continuing to sit at her thigh.

“Get. Your hand. Off me” Macey demanded with a glare and a harsh voice.

“Come on, have some fun” The man grinned.

“I’ll give you one more chance, you incoherent jerk” Macey spat.

He actually took offence to that, but the only way he responded was to lean in closer to her and place his other hand at her waist. That was it, she had had enough.

Before anyone could even blink, Macey grabbed the guys hand and twisted it backwards. She flung her free hand around with such force and struck him fair in the face. He fell to the ground clutching his nose.

His friends rushed at her suddenly, astonished. “You bitch!” The blonde guy with navy blue eyes hissed as he swung his fist at her face. Macey was too fast though, she ducked at incredible speed and catapulted herself into the air with a flip as she kicked the man in the chest, sending him flying to the ground where he gasped for air.

The last guy stood there growling out her, he picked up one of the stools and threw it at her, but just as quickly she moved forward and grabbed it out of thin air as she spun around and smashed it over the head of her attacker.

With a cry of pain he fell to the floor. Macey stood there looking down at them in disgust, aware of the staring eyes. She walked towards the leader where he lay on the ground; she thrust her boot onto his chest and leaned in on her knee.

“I warned you big man” She spat, “Don’t mess with me”

He looked up at her with dizzy eyes, her punch hadn’t been the punch of a girl; it had been the punch of a boxer, and he felt the full impact as though he had lost a fight in the ring.

She pulled something out of her pocket and walked towards the bar where the bar tender stood and stared. She placed a ten dollar note on the table with a grin, “I’m sorry for the slight inconvenience”

With one last snarl at the guys on the floor, she began towards the door, “I’ll be back, and If I see you three here, I can’t promise I will be gentle next time” She snarled.

Then just as quickly she was gone; walking out of the bar only to be coming back another night; but for her it was a night too soon.
