Chapter 3

The tour that Codie had given Noah was quite accurate, and if Noah was to be honest; it was one bloody long tour. Seriously, they had a gym room. A training room, countless bathrooms and bedrooms, more than one lounge room, a library, a work room, the main office, the garage, the weapons room and another room that Noah wasn’t allowed to enter. Not to mention that one of the bedrooms in the house was now his for the taking; although, whether he could call the place him he wasn’t sure, but it’s not like he had a choice.

Codie turned out to be a really good guy, funny even. Although, Noah thought it was a little weird that someone had taking such a liking to him already.

After the tour, Noah was sent back to his room for a goodnights sleep. I think these people have forgotten what a shower is; just because they glow like the freaking sun

And now Noah is left sitting on his bed; smelling like blood and dirt. He- once again- pulled his shirt to his nose and sniffed. The stench of his own blood and the dirt from the woods made him screw up his face in disgust. He couldn’t take it anymore; Noah pulled off his shirt and threw it in the fire before he really thought about his actions.

He swore as soon as he realised he just threw away the only top he had. But it was too late; his shirt was surrounded in flames. Unless these ‘angels’ had some sort of ‘save the shirt’ power; there was really nothing he could do but watch it burn.

So instead he just stood there- shirtless- and sighed. Maybe he should just go drown his thoughts in a shower without asking; surely that would make them hate him if they already didn’t.

At his sudden thoughts the door flew open and Noah was left to stand there; feeling completely exposed. After all; why should she get to stand there and smile?

Macey was given direct orders to give her ‘friend’ a towel and walk him to the shower. She had tried so hard to keep her distance and now she was being forced to babysit the boy, just ravishing.

Without even knocking she strode up to his door and walked in. She really wasn’t expecting him to be standing there without a shirt on and the fire up in full flames. But she had to admit; he was hot. He had abs. Abs! She mentally restrained herself and smiled at him. He snarled at her and snatched the towel from her hands, “It’s about time. I smell like a wolfs dinner” He scowled.

“I hardly think it’s appropriate to make those jokes under the current circumstances” Macey stated. Seriously? He has recently found out he was half wolf, half angel. So he practically just suggested he was feeling bright enough to eat himself.

“What circumstances?” He asked.

“Well, you are seventeen. We are not exactly sure when you will get your full abilities, but my guess would be when your body starts to mature” she stated, “So pretty soon you could be growing claws- and wings” she observed. He looked at her in horror, “Just an opinion” she hurried to add.

“Great, I could wake up in the morning floating amongst the clouds covered in wolf hair” He sneered.
