Chapter VIII (It's All Coming Back To Me)

California, May 5th 2017

Sam – Jordan?! Jordan?! It's time for you to hit the stage.

Sam – The show has already started and the producer has been waiting for you for a long time.

Jordan – What?!

Jordan (looking confused) – Sam?!

Sam – Yes it's me.

Sam – Come on, it's Broadway.

Sam – You can't get late at your entrance otherwise your understudy goes on.

Jordan – What?! Am I tripping?!

Sam – No, Jordan you're not.

Sam – You're on Broadway, in the revival of "Hairspray".

Jordan – Really?!

Sam – You're playing Link Larkin.

Sam – Are you taking pills again?!

Jordan – No, I'm not.

Sam – You've been talking about this for a while. I don't get why you're so surprised.

Jordan – But I left New York and never came back!

Sam – You came back, trust me.

Sam – Now get on the stage. Come on, you're on.

On stage

"Ladie's Choice" begins.

Jordan forgets the lyrics and chokes to the point he can't move from where he stopped.

The audience starts booing, people are screaming and leaving the theatre.

Sam is looking at Jordan laughing at him. The producer asks for the lights to go out.

He grabs Jordan and takes him to his dressing room.

Producer – Jordan look at me.

Producer – Do you know how much that fail will cost us?!

Producer – Hey, answer me please.

Jordan – I don't know. Please get me out of this nightmare. Please.

Jordan starts to scream really loud.

At Jordan's house

Jacqueline – Hey sweety. It's okay.

Jordan – What?! I'm not on Broadway?!

Jacqueline – No, you're at home. In Los Angeles.

Jacqueline – You were dreaming.

Jordan – It looked more like a nightmare. It was about theatre.

Jacqueline – Well but it's over now.

Jacqueline – I'm waiting for you to show me everything you have done before.

Jacqueline – Your works at NYU or other works.

Jordan – Right. But first let me shower and eat my breakfast.

Jacqueline – Sure. I'll wait for you in the kitchen.

What a nightmare, but I liked that involved my work as an actor and Sam.

Even though both of that were awful depicted.

My passion towards actings is the same towards Sam.

I would still like if we would be friends but he didn't accept my choice.
