A week or two later, Harry had been lounging in bed all day whilst Draco went to class. Of course he looked after Scorpius, but the baby slept alot, and so did Harry, so they both worked things out.
He groaned and pulled himself up as the child began to wail.
"Hey, alright, calm down." He cradled the baby in his arms and hummed, picking up some milk from the side, "You promised you wouldn't wake daddy up if he didn't wake you."
He was met by big eyes staring up at him.
They matched his perfectly except the glasses, apparantly to Draco, filling both males with happiness whenever they looked into them.

"I love you." He whispered, observing as Scorpius began to fall asleep. He smiled until the door was swung open, an angry Malfoy storming in. He threw his bag on the floor with a loud thud, causing Scorpius to wake up and start crying and screaming again.
"Draco! Shush, shush-"
"Pass him here!" He ordered, his wings shooting out. His eyes were still glowing red, and Potter didn't know whether to trust him with somebody as fragile as their child at that moment.

"N-No. I can manage-"
"Pass him here!" He yelled louder. The Gryffindor began to whimper and pressed a small kiss to his sons head, calming him slightly before handing him over.
Malfoy growled, but then was struck by the glowing, large and fascinated emerald eyes the baby contained. He glanced up to meet the matching pair, which were filled with fright. He shook his head and rocked the baby in his arms, instantly soothing himself.

He hummed gently, earning a yawn from the child as he placed him back into the cot. He flinched when he heard his mate's voice crack.
"Ma-Malfoy? What-What was that?"
He hadn't saw the blond like this for ages, and he didn't want that to change, but it seemed as though having a child was too much for the blond due to his recent sudden moods.
"I-Do you know how hard it is to raise a child? Especially with you?"
His words confused and hurt Potter a little.
"But-"

"I'm constantly pressured to be a good father and to always be nice because you're so great. You defeated the dark lord and people look up to you! I'm a death eater, and I know what you're going to say. You're brave, but no, I'm not. And as soon as I start believing you that I tried, and as soon as I start forgetting my past, some dick brings it back to remind me, as if I don't already know! The filthy dickheads here should learn to whisper; they think I can't hear them if they're screaming to each other? 'Oh I hope his son isn't a death eater like him!' 'Yeah hopefully this kid will make the right choices.' 'Hopefully he turns out like Harry instead!' It's hard, Harry, because everyone bows down to you. I'm so sick of them! All of them! I couldn't hurt them, I knew you wouldn't have wanted me to. I don't- I-I can't go to class anymore, it hurts too much."

The Gryffindor listened to him rant and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Oh, Dray, you precious child. None of what they say is true. They say it to hurt you, so please don't let it get to you. You're worth so much more, darling. You'll always be worth more than those cunts who are saying all this. I'm not all that great, y'know. My mistakes just are somehow forgotten. Shame, because it seems like your one mistake is remembered, whilst your multiple good deeds are forgotten. Please don't believe them... Scorpius will be a good child. I know, it's going to be hard-"
"You don't! You don't know." He was shaking as he sobbed, "You-You're not a death eater. You're Harry Potter!"

"Drakey? Drakey, listen." The smaller boy embraced the Veela, "We've both been through crap. Both pained us the same. I lost people I loved, and you were always pressured into something. Yours was remembered more, okay, I'll give it to you. But you know why I fell in love with you?"
"Because I'm a prick that you had to love or else I would die." He stated, scrunching his nose and frowning.
"No, Dray. Because you always rose with your head held high and with confidence. Now, come on, my man. You'll be the best father ever, and no matter what happens, I'll hold your hand through it. Even if it means suicide."
