Draco's POV.
Harry, my best friend and roomate, was hard to explain.
He was incredibly clever and quite mature for his age, but there were moments were he was childish for the age of nineteen. The thing with this was, he couldn't help it, he had these childish outburts where he'd be fine with just sitting there and watching a cartoon in our room, but then call it childish and say he was a freak and breakdown, yet then watch another cartoon and cheer up. He wasn't a baby though and I knew he was independent, he knew exactly how to take care of himself, he was just like me, it was just when he'd see his favourite cartoon character somewhere or favourite princess/ prince, he'd freak out and instantly have to buy anything it was with them on. He got many laughs at that, but I always reassured him and told him the same thing:
"Remember, Harry, people will like to laugh at you because they're all the same. You've got a brain, you aint a child, but this is your favourite cartoon and it makes you laugh, so screw them, we're gonna walk over to the cashier and proudly pay for this. Come along."

And he'd laugh each time and join me.

We were roomates for college and, although he was a bit strange, I love the fact he was strange. He was sarcastic and dirty minded too, though being clever, mature, have a wide range of vocabulary and being a tad childish. He wasnt sporty though, that was one thing he would not wish to ever take an interest in. He was my best friend and I'd kill anyone who hurt him.

Our friend group consisted of the Ron and Hermione couple and Neville. As well as Blaise; you can't forget Blaise, he's pratically my older brother and best friend.

I know, I just said Harry's my best friend, however they're all my best friends, I'm just closer to Blaise and Harry; he's more of the younger brother that I have to protect.

Of course we had other friends, like Luna and the Dean and Seamus couple. Along with the rest of the Weasleys, too; them and my parents, Severus, and Harry's adopted parents (Sirius and Remus) were the ones who were family to us all and all of them were closer to the friend group.

Those such as Blaise's mum prefered not to spend much time with all the teens at once incase she had her hand full, but she did enjoy having Harry and me over especially.

Anyway, back to reality, now you've had that background check.

"Goodnight, Draco." Harry spoke, startling me from my thoughts as he removed his glasses and grinned widely at me from his bed across, "Sweet dreams. I love you."

We were best friends, I said that to him, Hermione, Neville and Blaise all the time. Ron, most of the time, because he wasn't too affectionate. Zabini acted pratically like my husband at times, although most the time as my older brother, Neville being the innocent baby brother and Hermione the protective twin sister. We were all a family here. Ron just acted as if he was the troublemaking, unaffectionate brother, as to which he was. We didn't mind, though; we'd still remind him we loved him.

"Draco?"
"Sorry, just tired," I yawned, "Goodnight Harry. Sweet dreams to you, okay? You haven't had a nightmare for a few weeks now and I'm proud of you. Love you." I shone a genuine smile, glad my mate was finally progressing away from negative thoughts.

"Fank you, Drake," His yawn made him sound like such a child, I chuckled, "Night." He joined in chuckling, realising on how he sounded when he meant to say thank you.

"It's okay. Get some sleep then, it's summer holiday soon, are you excited?"

"Can I come over there for a bit? I'm not tired and I don't feel like having a conversation from across the room." He mentioned and I laughed.

"Come on over."

He got off of his bed and made his way towards me. When he approached, he sat on my bed.
