"She'll be here any minute."
"I still can't believe you let Lyra come the day my girlfriend is. Dad, you saw her last time." Scorpius crossed his arms. He was already missing Albus.
"It's only for two hours. You can take her shopping with you and Anvanna."
"No, we are not going shopping today!"
"Yes, you are. It won't take long, and it'll save you the awkwardness of sitting down here for a whole hour." Draco shrugged, "Anyway, are you ready for her?"
"Who?"
"Anvanna!"
"What do you mean? Yeah, why?"
Draco was glad he wasn't wearing the button up that he seemed to wear as soon as it was washed. He wasn't wearing the black button up that he wore a few times and Draco hated. Nope, instead he was being normal, wearing not some smart outfit and instead a baggy yellow jumper over blue ripped jeans. It actually looked nice with his hair colour.
"Should I put my button up on?"
"No." Draco demanded, and Scorpius instantly calmed down.
"Why not?"
"You're fifteen, not a twenty year old manager."
"Well, I didn't know you felt that way."
"Shut up." Draco smiled at the toothy grin Scorpius broke out into and leaned over to kiss his cheek.
"Dad!" He huffed, scrubbing his face with his palm.
"What?"
"Don't kiss me, I'm not Harry."
"You're my son who I can kiss whenever I want. I used to kiss your belly when you were little." He smiled as Scorpius placed a hand on his belly and stared at Draco with a scrunched up nose.
"Why?"
"When you have kids you'll see why."
"If I have kids." He muttered.
"I thought you wanted kids?"
"How Harry is with me having sex, he'll probably murder me if I try."
"Adopt." Draco shrugged.
Scorpius glanced away.
"It's nearly five to four, when is she coming?"
"Who?" Draco asked.
"Lyra!"
"Oh, she should be-" He was cut off by a knock, "Well, that should be her. Open up in case, Scorps."
Scorpius huffed and dragged himself towards the door, ignoring Remus who stood there when he opened it. They hadn't spoken since the argument.
"What time should I pick her up?"
Scorpius didn't answer, instead turned to face Draco, who looked up and smiled.
"Six will be fine."
"Okay." Remus smiled, "Thanks for this, Draco. I just don't want her to see Sirius like this-"
"Should we go in, Ly?" Scorpius asked, cutting him off. He was not going through this topic again, or even hearing it. Lyra looked tired, and didn't realise what was going on until she saw Scorpius and stuck her arms out. He grinned and picked her up, resting her on his hip.
"Tired?"
She nodded and rested her head on his shoulder.
"You want to sleep on the sofa?"
"No. I want to sleep on- on you." She muttered, and Scorpius smiled, kissing her forehead.
"Alright."
"I'll see you." Remus called in as Scorpius walked to the sofa.
"Bye, Remus!" Draco called, and walked over to close the door after him, "That was rude, Scorpius."
"I am not going through that subject again. I don't want to talk to him yet." He replied, before sitting down and letting Lyra sit on his lap. She was close to falling asleep when the doorbell rang again at five minutes past four. Scorpius gently placed Lyra down and bounced towards the door in excitement.
"Relax." Draco insisted, before Scorpius cleared his throat and opened the door. There stood an anxious Anvanna, wearing black jeans and a baggy red jumper. Scorpius smirked.
"Hey-"
"I'll see you tomorrow!" Her mum called out, and Anvanna giggled at Scorpius before turning and waving, "And remember, don't be irresponsible!"
Anvanna blushed at this as her mum drove off.
"Oh, let her in then." Draco called, and Scorpius stood back from the door. Anvanna smiled and walked in, taking off her shoes.
"Hello, how are you?" She asked Draco, who smiled.
"Well, thank you, how about yourself?"
"Good, thank you." She smiled and Scorpius rolled his eyes, closing the door.
"Scorpy."
He groaned but pulled himself towards the sofa anyway.
"Yes, Lia?"
"I thought you said I could sleep on you."
"My girlfriend's here, Lia. I need to talk with her, too."
"But-But..." She pouted, before angrily turning over on the sofa and crossing her arms.
"Don't be mad-"
"No!"
"Whatever. Go away then." He muttered, standing up from his squatting position and facing Anvanna, "Wanna drink?"
"No, thank you. Actually, can I put my bag upstairs?" She asked, and Scorpius looked at the bag on her back.
"Oh, yeah, yeah. You'll be sleeping in my bed-" He dismissed her hard blush at that, "And I'll sleep in Albus'."
Her blush cooled down and she nodded.
"Oh, right."
"Let me show you. I stripped the sheets this morning so you don't have to lay in my dirt." He laughed, walking upstairs as she followed.
"I wouldn't have minded, you didn't have to go through such a hassle."
"Of course I did. I'm suprised you were able to stay. Y'know, strict parents." He shrugged, walking into his bedroom, "I'm suprised I was allowed to have you sleep the night."
"Yeah, had to promise my mum we'd be sleeping in different rooms, that I would be responsible," She rolled her eyes, "And that your parents are strict too and you're too nice to want to go there."
"Three out of four correct." He winked, "Not going to say which is wrong."
"Oh, I guessed." She laughed as she put her bag on the floor next to his bed and leaned up to kiss his lips, "Thanks for inviting me."
"Of course. Sorry about Lyra, she'll only be here for two hours. I wasn't told until an hour ago." He admitted and Anvanna smiled.
"I don't mind, she's cute."
"Hm, the devil, sometimes." He sighed, "She's so jealous of you because you get my attention."
"I'd be jealous too." She mumbled and Scorpius smirked.
"Anyway, what do you want for tea tonight? Chinese, Pizza- whatever you want."
"I don't mind." She muttered.
"No, Anvanna, please." He pouted and she shrugged.
"I really don't mind."
"You don't? You wouldn't mind eating my shit, then?"
She rolled her eyes.
"I honestly don't mind."
He held both of her hands and kissed them both.
"Choose."
"Fine, uhm..." She thought and shrugged, "Chinese, please."
"I know you wanted that all along, you should have said."
"I didn't- oh my god." She sighed as he grinned and kissed her cheek.
"I'm kidding. You look beautiful."
She smiled at him.
"I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't totally digging the fact that you relaxed and wore a lovely yellow jumper."
He blushed and laughed.
"Come on, are my button ups really that bad?"
"No, they're handsome, they're just too mature. You need to relax a little bit more. I want to be dating a fifteen year old, not a twenty five year old."
He frowned.
"You don't like them?"
"I do, they're handsome. But I also like to see you chill out."
He sighed and kissed her nose.
"Fine."
Just as she went to kiss him, Lyra stumbled into his room, and he ended up biting Anvanna's lip to stop himself from swearing. He pulled away, ignoring Anvanna's yelp and rush to clean the small cut, and turned towards Lyra.
"Draco told me to come and apologise." She mumbled, "Sorry, Scorpy."
"It's okay, Ly. Now go downstairs and rest, okay?"
"Draco told me to tell you to take me shop." She mumbled, looking confused at her own words. Scorpius groaned.
"For what?"
"He has a list downstairs."
"Alright, go wait downstairs, I'll be down in a minute."
She stumbled out of his room, and Scorpius faced Anvanna with a pissed off face. Anvanna, meanwhile, seemed more in pain.
"Scorps, that hurt!"
He rolled his eyes and brought her into his arms, pressing a soft kiss where the cut was, and making her smile. He pulled away and sighed.
"So, how does taking my aunt shopping sound to you?"
"Fun." She smiled, earning a playful eye roll.
