Sam watched his parents. Albus and Scorpius were cuddled up on the sofa. He smiled sympathetically.
His parents were way too innocent for this world. And why does he say that? Let's see, shall we?

Earlier that week, Albus woke up with a yawn. Scorpius whined.
"You okay?" Albus asked tiredly.
"Yes... sleep..."
"We need to take Sam school- oh!"
Scorpius turned around in a panic, and groaned. Albus had just tripped over the blanket and fell on the floor. Scorpius rolled over towards the edge of the bed and stuck his hand out. Albus took it and Scorpius yelped as he fell off the bed too.
Sam watched in despair at the door. Why did he get the dopey parents?

Albus stood up first, then came Scorpius.
"Ow." Scorpius muttered but nevertheless held Albus' face in his hands and checked for marks.
"I'm fine." Albus waved him away and Scorpius smiled softly.
"Monday today..."
"Yep."
"So we need to work."
"Mhm."
"I like work." He mumbled, fiddling nervously with the bottom of his shirt as Albus stumbled into their en suite, "Susy is nice to me. She makes jokes and makes me laugh. But that Carl is still being a dick."
Albus didn't respond and instead came the sound of the tap running. Scorpius hummed and lay down, waiting for him to finish so he could go in. He turned his head at the sight of Sam and beamed.
"Hey, Sam. Morning, baby. Come bed." He patted beside him. Sam groaned, rolled his eyes and shook his head, walking away from the doorway as if he was ashamed of Scorpius. The blond's smile fell and he chewed his lip nervously and continued playing with his top.

Albus smiled and came back out, gently kissing Scorpius.
"I haven't brushed my teeth yet." He blushed, the nervous aspect of a new relationship still there for them. Albus shrugged and Scorpius went to brush his teeth as Al got changed.
"Which shirt?" Albus held up one pink one and one white one. Scorpius grinned. Albus laughed, "You want to say pink, don't you?"
He nodded. "Pink."
"Okay. Thanks, babe."
They got changed, blushing awkwardly and moving away from each other as they did, and then they both did the bed together.

He rolled his eyes when Albus and Scorpius came downstairs.
"I'm not going school today." He called to Albus who went to pack his lunch.
"Who says?" Albus furrowed his brows and Scorpius sat beside Sam, holding his face in his hands.
"You ill, sweetheart?"
"No! Off!" He pulled away from Scorpius, "Jordan reminded me we have a maths test and no way am I doing that."
Albus snorted. "Yes, you are, Sam."
"No. I'm not." Sam growled. Honestly, they were way too innocent to have adopted a boy with anger issues. They were too clueless.
"No, Sam, you have to go." Scorpius said gently.
"I'm not going. I'm staying at home." He snapped, storming into the kitchen for food. Scorpius looked nervously at Albus who rolled his eyes and they both followed him in, Scorpius staying near the door.
"Sam, get in the car." Albus demanded as the boy poured some milk into a glass.
"No."
"Get in the damn car, Sam."
"No."
"Sam-"
"I said no!" He shouted and made a sound of frustration, turning around and launching the glass at the wall beside the doorway. It obliterated into tiny shards and Albus stared in surprise. Scorpius was trembling near the doorway.
"You idiot!" Albus finally huffed, "Move! Fine, don't go school, but we're not taking care of you!" He hissed and then slowly approached Scorpius, who stepped away in fear, "Hey, Scorps... you took your tablet today?"
He nodded slowly and Albus brought him into a hug. The blond was still shaking and his knees were buckling.
"Come on. Call in sick for work and I'll do the same. I'll look after you. Come on." He urged slightly.
Sam scoffed. "I would say you're both virgins."
"Sam!" Albus snapped. They were. Scorpius got too nervous about that stuff.
With a shakey sigh, the taller man held Albus towards him and Albus reminded him to take deep breaths.
"You don't mind, right?" Scorpius whispered nervously.
"No. Of course not." He smiled and kissed his husband's lips, "Come on then, sweetheart. Back to bed. You, Sam, stay here. And you better be planning to make your own dinner too."
"What? That's not fair! And why is dad getting special treatment? He isn't ill!"
Albus rolled his eyes and Scorpius swallowed hard.
"Uhm... S-Sam, a maths test isn't bad. Me and dad can help you-"
"Oh, shut up, I'm not going." He huffed. Scorpius nodded quickly and Albus shot Sam a dirty look.
