A/N
Continues straight from the last part again!

Rosie was rubbing Thomas' back as they sat on the kitchen chairs facing each other, her helping hold the glass of water for him as his hands were shaking and he was still taking deep breaths. When they noticed Andrew walk in, Thomas avoided eye contact and instantly tried to stop his heavy breathing by sealing his mouth shut, wincing at his inability to breathe. Rosie dragged his chair closer instantly when she saw Andrew and wrapped an arm around Thomas instinctively. Andrew quietly watched Thomas from his stood position across the table.
"Are you okay?" Andrew asked quietly. His own hands were shaking.
Thomas shut his eyes, forcing a nod. Rosie pulled his head against her shoulder and kissed his head softly, but his back was tense, knowing he had to stay strong in front of his dad.
"I can't tell you what happened." Andrew grumbled, "But it's stressed me out."
"That's not an excuse." Rosie said shakingly, "You can't- you can't use stress an an excuse for that."
Andrew nodded quietly, "I know."
Thomas winced and squeezed Rosie instantly when he heard Andrew's footsteps getting closer.
"Sorry." Thomas rushed out, Andrew quietly pulling out a chair beside him. His son still had his back to him.
"I wouldn't have hit you."
Thomas' squeeze of Rosie proved he didn't believe that.
"Thomas, I'm sorry. Can we talk?" He mumbled, "I was wrong to shout at you like that. I'm sorry, Tom-"
Thomas let out a panicked gasp at the hand on his shoulder and Rosie rushed to push Andrew off.
"Let him calm down." She croaked, Thomas taking deep breaths as he heard his mother's footsteps.
"Get away from him." Liz demanded.
Andrew didn't even object. He just quietly got up.
"No dinner?" Andrew grumbled, avoiding eye contact as he walked towards Liz at the doorway. Liz was quiet.
"Should I cancel?"
"I don't know. Thomas looks terrified of being near you, nevermind dinner with you-"
"Should I tell him?" Andrew asked suddenly, his voice gentle and upset as he looked at Liz, "Or do you think dad will be mad?"
Liz stared into his eyes. Then spoke quietly. "Does he even want to know anymore, Andrew? Or will it be your way of trying to excuse your behaviour?"
Andrew's eyes saddened, "I need to explain, Liz. You know I would never get that mad, not if I didn't have this stress-"
"Well stress is apart of life, Andrew." She said firmly, "Taking it out on your kids isn't. So tell him what you want, I don't care. It doesn't justify anything, do you understand that?"
Andrew nodded quietly. He turned to see a calming down Thomas over his shoulder.
"Is it worth telling him?" He mumbled to Liz, but the other two heard in the quiet room. "Or is it selfish to?"
"I don't know, Andrew. He knows something happened."
"I don't want him to stress out."
"You don't want him to stress out?" Liz snapped, "Are you taking the piss?"
Andrew winced. He went into the living room, gently taking Luther's phone, who had been small talking with his grandma.
"Mum?" Andrew said as he took it.
"What?"
"Should I tell the kids? Ask dad. Ask dad, because they overheard and then I-I fucked up, I fucked up-"
"Calm down." She said, mainly because she didn't want to deal with the stress and knew Scorpius didn't need it either. She turned to her husband, who was looking quietly out the window.

"Thomas overheard them on the phone to you, Scorps. The kids know something's happened now. Andy was stressed and shouted, almost-almost-"
"I wouldn't have hit them." Andrew cut in firmly, full of certainty.
Anvanna sighed, "Scorps... should he tell the kids? They won't tell anyone. The twins won't say anything-"
"No." Scorpius said shakingly, "No. Who else is there?"
"Andy? Who else is in the house?" She asked gently.
"Rosie. I scared her." Andrew said guiltily.
"Rosie-"
"No. Fuck, fuck no. Rosie will tell Mason who will tell his parents who will tell-"
"Sshh, shush, calm down." Anvanna rubbed Scorpius' shoulder, "Word will get out because people care about you and love you. As a family, it's our job to come together during times like this. I will take over the phone answering and text responding until you feel better, honey, your job is just to lay beside me. Okay?"
Scorpius looked at her with miserable, watering eyes. "It's embarrassing, Vanna."
"What?" She frowned, "You can't help a heart attack." She rubbed a thumb across his cheek, "Nobody will find it embarrassing. They'll be worried. And we'll tell them just how brave you were, how you went in the room alone and came strutting out all cheerful." She said lightly.
Scorpius' chin wobbled. "I want to act like it never happened. And-and Tommy does too, he can't if everybody knows, Vanna. He can't."
Anvanna nodded quietly and responded to Andrew. "Not if Rosie's there."
"I-I- what if it's in a separate room?"
"Then Nate won't know-"
"Then tell him!"
"Andrew! Shut up right now!" Anvanna snapped at his whine, "You're causing your dad more stress."
"I-I- Mum, they know something happened. What difference will telling him make?"
Anvanna looked at Scorpius. Then mumbled to Andrew.
"Tell him and Luther. ONLY him and Luther. Make it very clear that nobody else can know, not yet."
Scorpius sighed, but knew Anvanna knew how to handle it, so he trusted her.
"Thanks." Andrew croaked, hanging up and handing Liz the phone as she stood at the kitchen doorway with crossed arms. "Luther," He called, "In the kitchen. Liz, keep Josh there." He walked into the kitchen, "Rosie, me and my boys need a minute."
Rosie looked at him, speaking hesitantly. "Is he okay? I-I know you can't tell me. But is he-?"
"He's fine." He said with a small, relieved smile, but it was weak. "He's fine. Stress, Rosie, that's all we have, that's all that's up with him."
Rosie looked to Thomas and kissed his forehead gently.
"I'll wait in the living room. Are you okay? Have some more water."
He was still clinging to her.
"Tom-"
"Liz!" Andrew called, trying to keep his volume level for Thomas' sake, "Come comfort Tom, honey. Rosie, can you look after Josh for a few minutes? Sorry, just that he's a kid and-"
"That's okay." She reassured gently, looking up at Andrew with cautious eyes as Liz came in the kitchen. Liz sighed and stood beside the chair, Rosie gently untangling herself from Thomas' hold, Liz ready to instantly replace her. The second Liz sat down, Thomas' arms were around her. He seemed humiliated about it, but his panic needed him to cling on. Luther stood awkwardly at the door, Andrew sitting down quietly on a chair he turned to face Thomas. Rosie left the room and shut the carefully door behind her, Luther nervously coming to grab a seat opposite his dad.
