Me and Tyler had come in second place. the first place winner was Maddison. I congratulated her and walked her horse to the trailer with her. I had to admit, he was a beautiful horse.
She loaded him into the trailer and turned to me. "See you tomorrow." She smiled .
"Definitely counting on it." I grinned back.
She hugged me and climbed into the big white 4 wheeler. As they pulled away I saw the 11yr olds hand wave to me out the window. I waved back and began to walk back to my friends and my.. well I wasn't sure what he was yet so, My crush. He turned around just before I looked up and smiled his crooked smile. I gave a small smile and walked to Sarah. "I don't think that Magic has ever looked better. I would use the red and blue ribbon in his mane more often." I said.
"Thanks! Keep using the green and purple on Dancer. It stands out in her mane." She smiled to me and turned to the other girls.
I felt a hot breath on my ear as someone said, "Can I talk to you,away from them,alone?" it said. It was Tyler. I turned around.
"Yes." was my simple answer.
We walked over to the empty barn. He pulled me behind it and leaned up against the wall. "So... ummm... I just wanted to ask you.... well... if... you.... wanted to ummm..... you know.... Umm....." he stuttered.
"Sure." I said giggling slightly. "I would love to be your girlfriend."
He smiled and relaxed. He held my hand and walked to the trailer. I sat in the back with Tyler. Jasmine was driving and Sarah sat upfront. it was a 6 hour drive back home. The little girls went in my moms truck with their ponies. Being exhausted, I soon felt my eyelids growing heavy. Tyler must have noticed because he laid my head on his shoulder. I soon fell asleep.
I was awoken by a noise. my eyelids flew open to see Sarah and Jasmine looking at us through the rearview mirror. All that they could say was, "AWWWW!! That's so CUTE!!!!!" they squealed. When they saw my eyes where open, they shut up and let me sleep in peace.
