My eyes opened and I was in my room. The doctor's flashlight was over my face. "Well hello there sleepyhead! How do you feel?" Dr. Adams asked me.
"Cold." I said.
"Get another blanket please." she said to my mom. "I'm Taylor. You don't have to call me Dr. Adams. now, I'm gonna listen to your lungs. deep breath please."
I took a deep breath and let it out. I did that 3 more times and then covered back up.
"May I ask your relation to her?" she asked Tyler.
"Um I'm her boyfriend. Please, don't make me leave." he pleaded.
"Oh you don't have to leave. I was just curious as to who you were because no one introduced you." she said.
He nodded and walked over to my side. Laying down, he wrappid his arms around me. I turned so I was facing his chest. he closed his eyes and rested his head on mine. Taylor walked around my bed to look at me. "You have a mild case of pneumonia but you should be alright. I have sent a prescription for medicine to the pharmacy "
"Okay." I nodded. Tyler had fallen asleep.
"I noticed your horses. I have to say, my favorite ones are the black stallion and the palomino piebald. their beautiful. I have a Flea bitten gray. Her name is Into the Mist. Misty for short."
"The piebald is mine. her name is Dancer.The stallion was my dads. His name is Cobalt. My dad was deployed 2 weeks ago." I replied, yawning.
"I just might board Misty here. you get some rest. sleep well." she said. "Oh, before I leave, you have yourself a keeper. don't let him get away." she winked and walked toward the door.
I blushed and I cuddled closer to Tyler. His grip tightened slightly and he mumbled. "Clara...please! No! I'm so sorry! please don't leave me!" he mumble-yelled.
I leaned in and kissed his forehead. He jumped and his eyes flew open. I half giggled. Big mistake. I was thrown into a fit of coughs. "Hey, are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm alright. you where having a bad dream?"
"Yeah, how did you know?"
"You talk in your sleep." I giggled again, but immediately regeted it.
"Oh." he said sheepishly.
"Okay. let's take a nap. I'll be okay. I just need some rest" I said to him.
I closed my eyes and cuddled as close to him as I possibly could. I felt him lay a kiss on my head and wrap me up as tight as he could without hurting me. Goodnight world. I thought and then sunk into darkness.
Time to go sledding down my road. I have 6 inches of snow around my house. Boo ya!!! I love da snow!!! byee.
