I woke up to nothing but cold air beside me. Tyler was gone. I stood up and brushed out my hair. Grabbing my cloths I shuffled to the bathroom to get dressed.
I ran down and fed our horses. I was walking into the indoor ring when I bumped into someone. "Sorry."
"Well good morning to you too." I immediately looked up into the eyes of Tyler.
Grinning like a fool, I stood on my toes to peck him on the lips. Sliding back onto my feet, I grabbed his hand in mine. He smiled down at me. "Should we go get some breakfast?"
"Sure." I answered.
We went back up to the hotel room so Tyler could change. I pulled the top half of my hair into a small braid and, put on a light layer of lipgloss and waited for Tyler. He came out just then and intertwined his fingers with mine. We walked down the hall and entered one of the elevators.
We arrived in the lobby a few short minutes later. We walked down the road to Dutch Bros and grabbed some smoothies. Mine was peach and his was strawberry. We arrived back at the hotel all too soon. When we got back we took the little girls to the pool. I left the girls with Jordan, Jasmine, and Sarah. I went up to change into my bathing suit when a hand covered my eyes and a voice said "guess who".
I spun on my heel and smacked Tyler's chest playfully. "You scared the living crap out of me you brat!" I giggled.
He laughed and I unlocked the door. I walked into the bathroom with my bathing suit. When I finished changing, I walked out of the bathroom and my breath caught in my throat.
Tyler was in nothing but swim shorts. He turned and looked at my bright red face. He laughed at me and picked me up by my waist. He spun me once and then set me down. I giggled and he kissed me. I grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the pool. Tomorrow was the competition. I only hoped I was good enough to get into the top three.
