Chapter 6: Look At Me Now

*Maura's POV*

Alyssa. My first instinct was to run and give her the biggest hug ever, which I did. We hugged for quite a while and she kept whispering things in my ear softly like, "Please don't ever do that again. I love you." And "you're beautiful." She was the best friend anyone could ever imagine. She was tall compared to me. I always had to look up if I wanted to look her in the eyes. Alyssa had beautiful long brown hair, hazel eyes, and an amazing smile that could just make my day. She was pretty skinny too, something I've always wanted to be. But no, I had to be a big fat whale just like my father, ew. Anyways, I invited her into the room and introduced her to Amy and Nick.

*Alyssa's POV*

I could actually believe Maura met her idols, her lifesavers, them. They were standing right in front of me. I walked over to Amy and stuck my hand out.

Amy- "Hi beautiful, what's your name? I've heard a lot about you. Maura is always going on about you!" She accepted my hand shake.

Al-"Hello, my name's Alyssa. And thank you, Maura is such a great sister to have." I smiled really big. I made my way over to nice, who held out his hand.

N-"Hi Alyssa, it's so nice to meet you!" I obviously shook his hand.

Al-"You too, it's such an honor."

Amy interrupted out conversation by asking if we were all ready to go shopping. We grabbed all of our things, purses, car keys, and headed out to the elevator.

*Maura's POV*

Nick walked faster than Amy to open the passenger door of their black SUV, for her. Aww, he's such a gentleman. After he closed her door for her, he made his way around the car into the drivers seat. We talked for a while, all of us. I told Alyssa the story of how I ended up where I am today with Amy and Nick. Nick kept telling us jokes and we were laughing out heads off the rest of the way. Amy began to talk.

Amy-"There's one more thing. Nick and I, we are going to try and adopt Maura."

Al-"Really?, that's great news!! But wait with you guys touring and everything how will I be able to see Maura?" Alyssa looked really sad.

Amy-"You know we are touring? Anyways don't worry, we have a private jet you can come visit anytime you want!" Alyssa's face instantly lit up.

Al-"Thank you guys! I'm kind of in love you and plus Maura knows almost everything about you so that's how I know."

N-"Stalker much?" We all started to crack up uncontrollably.

We finally arrived at the mall! When we arrived, we parked close to the doors and headed in.

*Amy's POV*

I really hope I can talk to Alyssa for a few minutes alone. I want to learn more about Maura. I looked over my shoulder and everyone, including Nick was antsy to go shopping. "Come on guys, where do you wanna go shopping first?" All in unison, they screamed, "Topshop!!" Haha, Nick is still such a little kid. We all walked in and went all separate ways. Nick went by himself and I went with the girls because he was the only guy. We made our way to the girls section obviously. Maura picked out these cute neon pink leggings and a black long sleeve with a bow on it, a zigzagged dress that was adorable, and a really cute pair of black combat shoes. Man, she's got a really good taste of fashion. Wonder where she gets it from...oh wait, me! Just kidding haha. I didn't really get anything except for a pair of high waisted jeans in five different colors. We were finally done and casually made our way to checkout, where we met Nick. I put Maura's, Nicks, Alyssa's, and Is stuff on the counter to pay for. I fought with Alyssa for five minutes until she agreed to let me pay for her stuff. The total came to $165.42 which was a pretty good deal considering everything we bought. After we were done, we went to the food court for lunch. Nick and Maura wanted pizza and Alyssa and I wanted Chinese food. We headed our separate ways to get lunch then we would meet at a table to eat together. Finally the moment I've been waiting for; getting to talk to Alyssa just us two.
