I have enough dignity to say that it was a highly manly scream. Go ahead, laugh. Just wait until a dragon lifts you into the air- see how you like it. I glance up and see a cyan-aqua dragon with black paws and tail-tip.
"Saphira," I murmur, half in fear and half in awe. The legendary dragon was above me. I shake my head to clear it. She's about to kill me, half of me reasoned.
She's awesome though! whined the other half. I shoved aside all thoughts and yelled over the wind, "Put me down you mangy dragon!" Saphira didn't even blink. I struggled to free my sword from its scabbard. Suddenly, her wings tilted downwards and we swooped towards a cave. Her talons dug into my flesh and I let out a grunt of pain before we descended into the cave.
