"Why should I?" I snapped. Saphira turned angrily.
"Because I can help you," she says simply. "I heard your brother was in a fire?" She moved off and I gaped at her. She glanced back.
"Are you just going to stand there and catch flies?" she said. I shut my mouth hurriedly and moved after her into a narrow passage.
"After you," said Saphira, bowing a little. I crept forward a little nervously and wandered into the passage, afraid the bulky dragon behind me would get stuck and I would be trapped. Just as the claustrophobia started to fully set in, the passage opened to a small cavern. In the middle of the cavern, in a small fire, sat a round, smooth blue stone.
"That," rumbled Saphira from behind me, "Is Stonerod."
