She was running full speed through the deep forests as always, her paws barreling against the cool forest floor.
She loved to run. The feeling of her paws against the dirt and the wind blowing in her fur. It just made her feel so alive.
Its been eight months since she had become a runaway and she had enjoyed every minute of her free life. No one to tell her what to do, no one to control her and most importantly, no one to hurt her.
She hadn't run into as many packs as she expected, only crossing two in total, but with her best talent, running, she managed to make it out of their territory's before getting caught.
She'll really, never get used to the freedom that comes with being a rouge, not having to worry about anything but other wolves and packs, really.
Loud howls erupt in the forest, booming across the trees causing an echo and a small twinge of fear flashed onto Zara, but she was close to the borders, she knew that, unlike how she didn't know se had even crossed into a packs land, anyways her fears were quickly overcome by knowing te borders were close.
She pushed her paws to go faster, throwing herself off the ground as she jumped over a stream and the innocent little turtle that was wadding around in the water.
The she-wolf almost cried out in happiness as the border came into view, but her happiness was short lived.
She pushed her paws off the ground, her body half way over the border when...
Slam!
Another wolf crashed into her, causing her and the wolf to go down onto the muddy ground and in the mean time smacking her head against the earth almost as hard as the wolf tackled her down.
The auburn wolfs eyes turned to slits as it held her down by her her neck, its teeth almost puncturing her skin forcing her black wolf to shudder.
Other wolves came out of the trees and surrounded the two. The wolves snarled and growled their eyes showing their furious emotions.
"Shift!" A loud male voice rattled out, the amount of power that was so thick in his voice made the she-wolf believe he was at least a beta.
She was startled at first but turned to face the man as he clenched his jaw, his muscles flexing, though it somehow didn't seem to attract her.
She didn't shift, in a hopeless hope that they wouldn't hurt her and just let the woman go on her merry way.
"I wont say it again, rouge!" He growled at her, his loud voice making her almost quake in fear.
With great hesitation, she slowly shifted, her large wolf body quickly morphing into one of a human girl.
The loud man tossed a shirt at her from his hands that the she-wolf seemed not to notice before, she still quickly pulled it over her head and onto her body to hide herself.
The wolves angered stares soon turn to curiosity as they noticed for a fact that this rouge, was female. Female rouges were a rare thing to see, since most females aren't as violent as the males. The beta eyed her up and down in a judgmental manner. She had to bite back her rude comment, knowing it would do her no good.
"Why are you here, rouge?" He said rouge with so much disgust it made her and even a few of the wolves surrounding them cringe.
When she didn't answer, purely not knowing what she should even say to get herself out of this mess, he grew angry. "Why are you here? Are you planning an attack?" He shouted. His wolf was clearly on edge as his eyes were shifting from their natural green to deep black. His wolf let out a furious growl thinking that a rouge should show him some respect before the beta took control again.
