Chapter [15]

Zara stumbled out of her room with her eyes half closed in exhaustion.

"Well look who it is." Zara whipped her head around to see a smirking Alexandria.

"What do you want, Alexandria?" Zara flatly glared at Alexandria.

"Tsk, tsk, where are you manners, Luna?" Alexandria smiled innocently.

Zara sighed. "Alexandria, I will not ask again, what do you want?"

Alexandria's smile dropped and was replaced by a scowl. "Listen, I know you think that Blake loves you-" She pointed her manicured finger at her Luna, "-But deep down he is only doing this because he is feeling sympathy towards you. He. Is. mine."

Zara's eyes narrowed. "Like hell." She spat, "He loves me, you, Alexandria, he doesn't care about you. I would appreciate it if you left me alone. Now."

Alexandria was taken aback by Zara's behaviour but she still turned on her heel and stalked away.

Following Blake's scent to the kitchen Zara grabbed an apple and sat at the table.

"Morning baby." Blake groggily said as he gently slammed the milk on the table and began making cereal.

Zara bit into her apple as Maya and Parker arrive in the kitchen with their fingers intertwined grinning like idiots they sat down.

"What's got you guys in a good mood?" Zara asked eyeing the couple.

"I- uh- nothing." Maya said quickly her cheeks turning crimson red, Parker nodded his head vigorously.

"Mhmm." Zara hummed squinting her eyes at the two.

After a few minutes of silence as everyone eats and idea popped up in Zara's head.

"Can we go to the beach?" She pouted looking at Blake hopefully.

Maya perked up as Zara said the beach making Parker chuckle quietly.

"I don't know-" Blake started but almost immediately got cut off by Zara.

"C'mon, I think it's fair to say that we could all use a day off. We could bring Xander and Riley too."

Blake sighed and gave her a small smile before nodding. "I guess you're right, a day off sounds nice."

"I heard our names." Riley chirped as her and Xander walked into the room hand in hand.

"Xander, Riley, today we are going to the beach!" Zara shouts all giddy after all it's been years since she's been to a beach.

"Beach?" Riley grins ear to ear.

"Yes beach." Zara confirmed her with a nod.

"Oh my gosh!" Riley shouted and started jumping up and down.

"Why is she so excited?" Maya whispered to Zara.

Zara smiles. "Riley used to go to the beach every night and watch the sunset in the summertime it was her thing and since she hasn't been to one in years she's kind of excited." She whispers back.

"Beach! Xander we are going to the beach!" Riley yells to her mate making him chuckle.

"I take it you like the beach?" He questions even though it sounded more like a statement.

"Definitely." Riley says.

Maya and Zara giggle at Riley's giddiness.

Everyone piled out of the van they had brought with them to the beach.

Zara wore a plain black bikini, Maya wore a white one piece with no back, Riley wore bright blue swim shorts and a blue bikini top.

And all the guys wore matching blue swim trunks to which their mates made them wear.

"Water!" Zara shouted immediately ditching everyone else she ran straight into the lake immediately screaming at the freazing lake water.

"Whats wrong?" Blake arrived in a flash he looked over his mate for any injuries.

She heaved. "The water is freazing." She says to which Blake sighs in relief of his mate not being hurt.

"Thank goddess." He muttered making Zara giggle.

"What? Did you seriously think I was hurt or something?" She asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. I did think you were hurt." Blake admitted.

Zara sighs looking over at Maya and Riley who were now making their way into the water. "Over protective mate issue's, am I right girls?" She shouts and the girls nod their heads vigorously.

Blake grumbled under his breath and stumped a few feet away crossed his arms over his chest and looked at anything except Zara.

"Blake I was joking." She said with a 100 watt smile walking over to his and placing a hand on his shoulder, he shrugged her arms off and said,

"Whatever."

Zara sighed suddenly becoming serious. "Blake," She stood in front of him and looked him dead in the eye as she said, "I was just joking, okay?"

Blake nodded his head and threw her over his shoulder making her gasp in surprise.

"What are you doing?" She screeched pounding her fists on his back.

"Enjoying the view." He shouts back.

She was about to ask what view when she realiezed he had a whole view of her butt.

"Shut up, you pervert." She wiggled in his hold only making him tighten his grip of her.

She gave up and let her body fall, getting a full view of his rear side as well. "Nice view back here." She comments.

"You know it!" Her mate shouts to her making her groan.

Well, his ego just fucking sky rocketed.

"Now that I think about it," Zara tapped her index finger on her chin, "I've seen much better."

Blake growled loudly at that, Zara fell into a fit of giggles, "I was joking." She said in between her laughs.

As if her laugh was contagious Blake started laughing as well.

After a moment of silnce after they finished laughing Blake tossed his mate into the deep end of the lake.

After resurfacing Zara spluttered, "What was that for?"

Blaks playfully glares at her, "You don't joke about my fine ass."

Zara snorted and rolled her eyes, "Whatever you say."

A while later everyones eating the sandwiches they packed as they sat on a picnic table.

"This was fun." Riley says pulling her pepsi up to her lips and taking a large swig.

"We should do this more often." Maya replies after gulping down a bite of her sandwich.

"Definitely." Parker joins with a nod.

It was time to go and everyone was piling in the car, Zara turned to the lake and watched as the sun set spraying oranges and pinks across the blue sky making her smile slightly.

She sprinted over to the sand and sat down criss cross apple sauce she was lost for words from the natural beauty of the world.

Her eyes wandered around the colorful sky the beauty entrancing her.

A few minutes later Blake stumbles over and sits beside her.

"Hey you okay?" He asked bumping her shoulder lightly.

She sucked in a sharp breath. "No, but I will be eventually."

Blake draped his arm over Zara's shoulders and pulled her into his chest.

"I love you." He whispers to her.

"I love you." She instantly replies wrapping her arms around his torso.

Sorry for the short chapter this week has been really busy, my house is under construction and my wifi has been acting up but thankfully everythings good again. How was the chapter?
