Oliver woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. He saw Evelyn sitting beside him with a wet cloth.
"What happened?" he asked as he sat up. He still had on the same clothe from the previous day.
"When I dragged you into the forest you hit you head on some branches and where knocked unconscious" she answered. Oliver remembered with a bolt what happened last night.
"Why where their knights attacking my house? And why did you drag me into the forest? And where am I?" he asked loudly.
"Somebody in the town must have seen strange visitors so the warned the closest knights. We dragged you into the forest because we needed to get you here" she explained as she gestured to the walls.
The building was made out of gray stones like the castle. Oliver was in a huge room with several beds that each had a tale with medical supplies next to it. He and Evelyn where the only people in the room. Evelyn was still wearing her battle suit and sword. Her suit was golden. Oliver couldn't see I the dark of last night and he realized her suit was armor.
It had a golden chest plate and golden plates underneath her knees. Gold vine like armor went down her arms and around her fingers. Besides the armor she had on pale yellow pants and the same color shirt.
"Where am I?" Oliver repeated.
"I can't tell you" Evelyn answered.
"Why?" he asked.
"My father and I are not visitors to Evergreen. This building is a mini castle in the heart of the Evergreen forest. We didn't come to your house because we were lost. We came to see you an bring you here if the night went well" she explained.
"Did it?" Oliver asked.
"It was going well after we started talking but then we had our interruption and we couldn't stay any longer because it was too dangerous" she replied.
"You will be living here until we figure out if we can trust you or we will probably kill you" Evelyn explained before she left the room.
What just happened Oliver thought in his head.
He heard boots stomp along the floor and he saw Evelyn had come back.
"I forgot that I will be your personal um... well... I have to keep an I on you and make sure that I keep you out of rooms that we can not let you see" she added.
"Just tell me what's going on" Oliver demanded as he stood up.
"I don't know if I can trust you" Evelyn snapped back.
"I know you can" he yelled back.
"People have changed after they found out that this is the rebellion..." Evelyn slapped a hand to her mouth and looked ashamed.
"We came over to your house to see if we could recruit you. We heard that you where young, strong, and you knew how to forge weapons" Evelyn explained. "Will you help us?" she asked as she slowly walked towards him.
