King Luther sat on his throne holding a letter from his daughter. His bald head was covered by a ginormous crown and his beard and mustache sat on his face like a few tiny squirrels.

“I really hope she doesn’t disappoint me” he muttered before unfolding his gift.

Dear father,

The rebellion has accepted me as an ally and has welcomed me into their home. I haven’t been able to investigate much about their army. DO NOT send a full attack force yet since I’m still not sure about their skills. Write more soon,

Ariella

“I hope the next letter is more impressive” he muttered. “At least her hand writing is nice”.

Queen Ira marched into the room and took her seat on the throne beside him. She radiated so much power with her black makeup and dark gowns.

“Felix Lance has accepted our invitation of him becoming your sire. I said if he kills the rest of his family he could be guaranteed the duty of leading his kingdom. He will also be allowed to marry our daughter. If he does not complete his task then he will be a top commander in our army” she announced with a scowl.

“He’ll make a good King. He believes in our idea of crushing the rebellion and taking over the modern world” Luther added.

“As long as my children survive then I’m perfectly happy” Ira said.

“Prince Hercules is gonna have to die” Luther pointed out. “Felix can’t rule Evergreen if he is still alive” he added.

“Since when do we follow Evergreen laws? We trade for modern world weapons and men, we use monsters, and we threaten pheasants to do what we want will sheer force and fear” Ira hissed.

“Good point” Luther agreed. He still wanted to kill his son though. He knew is son would eventually escape his clutch and find the rebellion. He had to make sure that never happened.

One of the commanders raced forward into the throne room. He pushed against his back and gasped for breath.

“There… there is… a…a… man… waiting to speak… speak with… you” he gasped and past out. The elegant rules of Evergreen waded out of the room and walked down the beautiful red and gold hallways until they reached the front gate. There stood a tug in a jacket and jeans and a bloody lip.

“In Rethul there is a couple that beat up a group of us. We haven’t seen them before. The man was tall, had dark brown hair, was really fit, and had a really nice face. The woman fought even more than the man did which is illegal. She had long wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, she was freaking gorgeous” the thug explained.

“I’ll send a group of knights to follow them. They’ll figure out where they’re going and capture them. Then they can bring them to the arena in big town” Luther replied. He sent Ira to gather the man while he took a short catnap. He would be going to search himself after his nap. It had been a long time since he left the castle and wrecked some havoc on the pathetic lives of his subjects.
