My first day at work was decent: I met up with the other lawyers and got introduced to the rest of the employees, they were all nice and welcoming and eased my anxiety. Molly, Mr Hunter's personal assistant gave me a quick tour in the company and explained to me how things get done around here and I was informed that Hunter likes to stay in his office and have little to no interaction with the employees. Some people think it's because he doesn't like to be around people others say he's a rich stuck up, personally, I find his strange personality quite confusing.

The office I had been given is absolutely beautiful, it had large windows so the sun was always shining through and it overlooked the city which was my ideal view to stare at.

It was lunch time so I've decided to check out the nearby restaurant since I was still new to the area and I wanted to explore it. The elevator door opened and Hunter stepped in.

"Ah Miss Morr!" he greeted happily, "Pleasant seeing you here!"

"What a coincidence," I smiled.

"I hope you're settling in well."

"I am, the people here are very nice and the system is easy to follow."

"Splendid news! So are you heading out for lunch?"

"Ah yeah I actually am, there's a restaurant around the corner that I've been wanting to try."

The elevator door opened again as I spoke.

"Really? I'm going there right now! It's one of my favorite spots to eat, the food is absolutely delicious."

We walked out of the building where the sun was shining down on us and for a second I wondered how Mr Hunter wasn't sweating through the thick scarf and hat, if I wore what he was wearing I would've had an asthma attack in no time. I think he might has some medical condition or maybe allergies. I heard that he is very insecure when it comes to his looks so he keeps them covered.

"And so I've heard," I smiled politely at him.

"Come on now, we'll have lunch together. My treat!"

"Oh no no no I can't accept this Mr Hunter."

"We're going to the same place, might as well go together and besides it will be a great chance to sit and talk about business."

There's something about this man that forces you to accept his offers and this probably why he owns a fortune, he's good at convincing! Maybe it's his bubbly personality that eventually gets people to agree with whatever he's says, that or it's because of how persistent he is. Whatever it is, it worked and now we were walking to the restaurant together.

"I never liked business parties! They're plain boring and ridiculously time wasting! You either party or do business but you can't do both at the same time!" Hunter spoke loud and clear while he waved his hands, "I know, I know the sixty something year old doesn't have a say in this because we're boring and slow but I was once a hip teenager who enjoyed going to parties!"

I don't know how the conversation switched from the current economical state to how much Mr Hunter despise business parties. We were still in the restaurant chatting and eating and I, surprisingly, didn't mind listening to his rants, the way he spoke was hilarious.

"Seems like your teen years were wild," I smiled as I cut my steak.

"Oh definitely! Partying, prancing, getting the neighbors mad. I did all sorts of things back then."

"I would've never guessed."

"Ah come on I might look a little deranged but I seem cool, right?"

I laughed then drank some juice. "And what about you Miss Morr, tell me you were this rebellious teenager who broke stereotypes back in high school!"

"Oh, well I don't believe in stereotypes but I can't say I helped with ending them nor that I was a rebel. I was actually an easy child who enjoyed learning."

"There's nothing wrong with that! Knowledge is important so is discipline, you won't get anywhere without it. I've known so many bright people who wasted poured their energy in the wrong places, most people have brilliant ideas but they don't have the right attitude and can't follow through a plan. Just don't forget to have a little bit of fun while you're at it."

"I don't believe it when people say you're antisocial and insecure," I blurted out and immediately regretted it luckily, Mr Hunter laughed at my comment.

"I'm not antisocial, I'm just misunderstood."
