"Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs Sparks," I congratulated the old couple.

"Thank you dear," Monica Sparks said with a thick Dutch accent.

"Monica you blow my mind away," Mr Hunter piped in,"It's not easy to live under the same roof with this man for thirty five years!"

"Well Miss Morr here blows my mind, I'd rather sleep with pigs than have you as my boss. Poor child taking orders from a cranky old man," Aaron said and Hunter immediately bursted into laughter.

"You two talk like you're ten," Mrs Sparks shook her head, "Come on dear let's leave the love birds alone."

I chuckled and followed her as she moved away from the men. I love how cool and understanding Monica is, the relation between her and Aaron is amazing and it amazes me how laid back Mr Hunter seems around them. It's like he lets down his guard a little bit and forgets about the rules.

"Aaron and Lewis have this weird insult fetish don't mind them," she joked while I laughed, "Oh look there's Bernard."

Bernard smiled as he saw us. His shoulders seemed a little broader in the suit he was wearing and his skin was paler than ever.

"I'm so glad you came," he smiled showing his perfect set of teeth.

"Me too, the party is amazing," I said with delight. Mrs Sparks had left us alone and went to talk to other guests.

"Yeah my parents are great are planning these things, I could never pull off something like that."

"I'm sure you're good at other things," I chuckled.

"Oh yeah I'm a great baker."

"Really?"

"Yeah I baked the cupcakes. Of course I had some help but you get it."

"The cupcakes are delicious, you're a great baker."

"Yeah I know I just told you," he smiled innocently.

I laughed and shook my head this family is something else.

"Hey Leo!" hey yelled and waved his hand, "I want you to meet someone."

I turned around and saw a guy, probably Bernard's age, walk towards us with a huge smile on his face. Up close, I saw a tattoo on his neck creeping from underneath his shirt. Leo was pale like Bernard but he had green eyes and a buzz cut, he was shorter but definitely buffer.

"Guten Tag!" he greeted happily.

"This is Leonard," Bernard turned to me while he hugged the man, "my boyfriend. Leo this is Angelica Morr, Hunter's lawyer."

"Hello Angelica," Leonardo smiled.

"Hi Leo," I shook his hand, "Mind me, I'm a little surprised I assumed Bernard was..... well..... single."

"Nope, all taken."

Bernard blushed while Leo chuckled.

"My boys!" Aaron suddenly appeared from behind and hugged the two men, "Leo you're just in time! We're about to cut the cake!"

"Hello Leo oh dammit Aaron! You're already drunk?!" Monica frowned at her husband.

"No no my love, I'm just a little bit tipsy," the husband smiled and swang but Mrs Sparks rolled her eyes and walked away. He quickly followed and they started arguing in Dutch while Bernard and Leo laughed at something they said.

Mr Hunter later joined us and then the couple excused themselves. We all sat and dined before the Sparks cut the cake and everyone clapped and cheered. I wonder what it feels like to live with the same person for thirty five years, can you really stay in love with someone after all these years? I think the secrete to that is waking up every single day and find a new reason to love them even more, that's what my parents do and they're still going on strong.

When we came back to the hotel after the ceremony was over, my room was ready which means I got to sleep alone on my last day here. I changed my clothes and then packed my suitcase since we're flying out first thing in the morning. This business trip was one to remember.
