Chapter Twenty-One
Rebecka Sweet P.O.V
"Babe," A voice called, tapping me lightly on the arm. "Babe, wake up."
I slowly opened my eyes finding Liam sitting on the edge of my bed. He was fully dressed and had all of his luggage with him. "I don't want to wake up, its too early," I complained, rolling over. My head was pounding from the night before, and I wasn't too keen on seeing my father today.
"Becka," Liam sighed, sitting on the edge of the bed. "We have to get to the airport,"
Rubbing my eyes, I lazily sat up. Loose strands from my messy make-shift bun fell in my face. Surprising me a little, since with my awful haircut, I wasn't able to do much with it. "What time is it?" I yawned.
Looking down at his watch, Liam replied, "Almost 4:30."
"You're kidding me, right?" I asked, laughing a bit. "What time is our flight?"
"Six. But you know how security is. It takes forever. Plus, its almost a twelve hour flight. You'll have time to sleep." I rolled my eyes at Liam, before falling back on my pillow.
"You do know you have to leave the room in order for me to actually get up, changed, and ready, right?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at Liam.
His expression changed quickly, and he nodded his head, bolting out of my room. Standing up, I grabbed a pair of Victoria's Secret PINK Yogas, an old gymnastics tee, and my favorite American Eagle hoodie. Walking into the bathroom, clothes in hand, I pulled my ponytail holder out of my hair, letting it fall back onto my wrist.
Running a brush through it, I decided to let it be. Finishing up, I brushed my teeth, applied my deoderant, and made my way out of the bathroom. Picking my purse off my dresser along with my phone, I made my way into the hall.
I quickly searched the kitchen and living room, only to find that Liam was not there. To my knowledge, he was probably in the hall way, waiting. Grabbing the star bucks that Liam had brought, off the counter, I slipped on my favorite Uggs, and made my way into the hall.
Of course, there was Liam. "About time you got out here. Its almost five."
I rolled my eyes, laughing slightly. "You confuse me, babe."
"How?" Liam asked as we began to walk down the hall to the elevator.
"You can be so care free and calm, then turn into such a Wembrely Worried."
"Isn't that a name for a book?"
"Thats not the point!"
Liam shrugged," I don't know, I just like to be on time for things. Especially this!"
I stopped Liam for a minute, placing my hand on his shoulder, turning him around. "Li, this is going to be fine. My dad, no matter how mean or uptight he may seem, is going to love you, just like I do."
"You sure?" He asked, his eyes softening.
"Promise." I quickly leaned in a gave him a small peck on the lips. "Now, we don't want to miss our flight, do we?"
"Whose Wemberly Worried now, huh?"
"Still you, Li."
"How can you compare me to a little mouse? I haven't tugged around a stuffed animal since I was two for that matter! Plus, I actually am a people person, I like them-"
