"Oh my god! How beautiful this city is!" I yell, very happy that in a few minutes I'll be able to step foot on American ground. That makes the guys laugh. "This is just an airport." Michael grins and I shrug. "So? Let's go!"

Leaving the plane is not as simple as I thought it'd be. We can't just step out of the plane, due to the fans that are waiting inside the airport. Instead, we have to wait for security, which will be waiting outside the plane for us. Since the guys don't want me to have to deal with all this, they asked security if someone could watch me.
"Guys, I am, or was, one of these girls, remember? I think I know how they feel right now. Also, I know how to deal with it."
Calum nods, and wraps an arm around me. "I know, but we don't want them to know you're on tour with us yet. You will get mobbed immediately, and I don't want you to get hurt."
That makes me agree, and I get out of the plane first. Before I can even walk a few steps, a man comes up to me.
"Sara? Hi, I'm Matt, one of the security guards today. You're Sara, right?"
I nod and smile, shaking his hand. "Yes, I am. How are you? What's the plan for now?"
Matt explains that the two of us will go get my luggage, and after that, we will get something to eat. It's probably gonna be a while before the guys and I will meet again, so until that I'm stuck with my personal guard.
"Okay, let's go then. But won't it be a little weird if I'm with a security guard? Won't they suspect anything?" I ask and that makes Matt grin.
"Yes, but I have everything covered. It's gonna be okay."

And I have no other option than not to worry about it. With that being said, we go on our way. As soon as I get my luggage, we walk to a cab and put our stuff in that.
"Where are we going?" I ask Matt and he shrugs. "Well, there's a lunchroom just outside the airport, so Calum asked me to get some food there. He hates eating food at an airport."
I grin and the two of us get into the cab. We soon arrive at a cute little restaurant, and I look out the windows. New York is already beautiful! I can't believe I'm actually here. It's so overwhelming, and I can't wait to do this adventure with Calum.

"You've never heard that story?"

As soon as I finish the story I've told so many times, Matt, like all other people, starts to laugh. He keeps laughing all the way to the hotel. He has gotten a text from Calum that it's gonna be a little longer till they arrive.

"This is the hotel?" I gasp in surprise when Matt and I get out of the cab. He nods and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna cry of happiness. The hotel is huge, and even the outside looks like only the richest people stay in it. I definitely won't look like I belong there, but I'm pretty sure I don't mind.
Matt and I walk over to the reception, and he makes sure everything is alright. He then gives me a quick hug and disappears. I walk over to my room and the doorman puts down my suitcases in the room. He then leaves me alone too, and that's when I have the time to really look around. Management surely only wants the best for the guys: my room is on the 7th floor, so I have the best view on the skyline of New York. The bed is gigantic, and the bathroom is plated with gold accents, giving it a very beautiful touch.
Not even unpacking my suitcase, I sit down on the sofa in front of the enormous window. I snap a lot of pictures of the view, sending them to my parents and sister. By just looking at the view I've already spent an hour, and by the time I've seen somewhat enough, I hear a knock on the door. I walk over to the door, looking through the little spy hole. "Sorry, my mum told me to never let strangers in." I grin, and open the door. I'm immediately involved in a group hug, and the four guys sit down on my bed.  "How was it?" I ask. Calum sighs. "I love it, but now I'm tired and I have a jetlag." Michael and Luke nod in agreement, but Ashton shrugs. "I feel fine. What about you?" "Yeah, I'm fine too. I can't wait to explore the city with you." I lean into Calum and he wraps an arm around me. The guys smile and get up. "We're having dinner in two hours. You love birds do your thing." Luke grins and winks at the two of us, making me sigh.
When they are all away, I look at Calum. "So, what are we going to do?" I ask him and he shrugs. "We could go explore the hotel for a bit. I heard they have this amazing swimming pool with a bar built in it!"
The sight of him grinning makes me smile too, and I agree. I grab my suitcase and take out my bikini. Calum gives me a cheeky grin and I frown. "Go put on your swim shorts, in your own room." I say and does what I say. I'm fine with him seeing me in my bikini, but fully naked... no. That goes too far for me.
After getting into my bikini, I throw on a T-shirt and some shorts. I then walk over to Calum's room, where he was already waiting. He takes my hand and drags me along to the elevator, obviously excited to go.
Once we're at the top floor, we go over to the dressing room, meeting each other in the pool. Calum obviously doesn't care that this is a very expensive hotel - which means that most of the people here are elderly and decent. He instead jumps into the pool without warning, splashing a couple of people who are sitting by the pool. I give them an apologetic smile and sink into the pool myself. Calum immediately comes swimming over to me and grabs my legs. I squeal and fight him off. He starts laughing, clearly pleased with his behavior. I join him and we swim for a while, until I take a look at the clock. "Shit! Calum, we have to go. We have to leave in half an hour! That's way too less time to shower, do my makeup and hair and pick out my clothes!"
Calum laughs and I slap him. "Not funny. Come on."
He gives me a kiss and lifts me up, and before knowing it, we're back in the elevator. I run into my room and Calum takes off to his own room. I quickly take a shower, try to do my makeup as best as I can. My clothes, however... I have no idea where we're going. Luckily, my savior comes walking in just as I start to have a mental breakdown. "Calum wasn't ready yet, and knowing you, you're on the verge of a crisis, so I thought I would help you." Ashton laughs and that makes me grin. "Yes, I am indeed having a breakdown. So, where are we going and what should I wear?" I ask him and he walks over to my suitcase. "Nothing special, just a normal restaurant," he says while holding out a pair of jeans and a blouse I didn't even know I packed. It's the perfect outfit. I run off to the bathroom to change.
"Did I tell you that you saved me?" I yell at Ashton and I hear him laugh. "I know, thank you!" He yells back and I walk out. By then it's time and the two of us go over to the lobby. The rest of the guys are already waiting. Calum looks really good, and once he sees me he grins. "Did Ashton help you?" He asks and I nod. "You look amazing." Calum says and that makes me smile.
The taxi is already waiting for us, and then it's time to finally see a bit of The Big Apple.
