"Rise and shine, you two!" Liz happily says when she wakes us up.
I then notice I'm still on the couch. So is Luke, on the other sofa in the living room. "What...it's way too early." He says to him mom, and I manage to crack a smile.
"Good morning." I say and stand up. Liz goes ahead to give me a hug, which I happily return. "Good morning to you too," she says, "Have the two of you even slept? You look like you haven't gotten any sleep for the last three days!"

"Well, no, we both couldn't sleep." Luke says and walk over to the kitchen. I myself go upstairs to see what I look like. Liz was right: I look very tired and not good at all. At some point Luke and I must've fallen asleep again, but we only slept for two hours. The sight of myself makes me quickly change into some fresh clothes and do my makeup. I check my phone too, wondering if I've gotten any messages from Calum. I haven't, but I decide to call him anyways. To my great suprise he picks up, and I can hear that he hasn't slept as well.
"Hey," he says.
"Hi, how are you?" I ask him, and he responds with, "Not any better than yesterday. You?"
"The same. Are you at the hospital?"
"Yes I am." Calum says and I sigh. "You haven't been at home?"
"I have, but I still haven't eaten anything. Could you get me some food or something?"

That worries me, and I immediately plan on getting him something.
"Maybe some water and there's a delicious bakery shop just a street away from Luke's house. He knows where it is."
"Anything else? Do you want me to come to the hospital?"
"I would like you to," Calum says, "My parents are doing a little better, and I thought it would be good for me to have some company today. I don't have to be in the hospital 24/7, but I want to be there when they wake up. I know that I need a little distraction. This place is driving me crazy."

"Of course! See you in an hour or so. Bye!"
"Bye! And Sara?"

"Yes?"
"I'm glad you're here."

"I know."
