"But if we are going to take a long walk, then I could chance different clothes especially shoes."
Emma laughed a bit "Yes, you really should?"
"Last time was bit painful" she laughed
"All your fault"
"I guess so, got to admit"
"Well let's go to your place so you can change"
"Yea, and maybe make something ready for the kids so Henry won't starve" she smiled and put her heels on
Emma laughed "That's a good idea" she slipped her jacket on
Regina took her stuff and walked them out
Emma went and got into her car
Regina sat behind the wheel, driving them to the mansion. She got out and waited Emma and walked hand in hand inside
Emma kissed her cheek when they got him then called for Henry and Violet
Henry walked on top of the stairs. "Hi" he said as he walked down
"We are assuming that you are hungry by now?"
"Totally, at least I am." he said and hugged Emma. "Nice to see you again"
"Nice to see you. Missed ya" emma smiled and hugged him
"I missed you too" he said and let go. "Do I go and wake up Violet?"
"You can. She might want something to eat too"
Henry nodded and ran upstairs. "Why is Violet still sleeping?" Regina asked as she walked to kitcheb
"They probably stayed up late" emma walked with her
"Probably, she just doesn't sleep that late." She smiled and started to find something to cook for them
"Well maybe they stayed up really late" Emma laughed
"Maybe, if they did I can have a parental speak to Henry about bed times."
"Oo" emma laughed more
Regina laughed and started the cooking
Emma sat on the counter
Regina turned to gave Emma a kiss, when she waited Violet and Henry to come down. She lifted the food on the table as they came down.
They both sat down at the table to eat, both hungry.
Regina let out a quiet chuckle when she saw how hungry they actually were especially Henry when they dished up. She dished bit up too. "So did you two stay up late last night?"
"Yes" Henry said while eating
"And how late exactly?" she raised an eyebrown.
"Really late" Henry said as he was finishing.
Regina took the empty plates. "And what are we talked about your bed times, you have times that are quite reasonable. And I'd hope you go by the rules we have." she said in her motherly tone and went to put the plates in the sink and then cleared rest of the table
"we didn't mean to. we didnt go out or anything. and its not like we have school today"
Regina rolled her eyes, "fine but if I catch you playing video bedore homework, or staying up late at school day, you'll clean the house"
"Yes mom" he rolled his eyes and put stuff away
Henry soon left upstairs, he had homework, as Violet had stayed to help to clean the table, wiping it. She looked at Emma and Regina before she spoke. "I thought, if you could check on my father.." she asked quietly
Emma looked at regina then back to her "Well he is your father, so of course you can always go see him, or stay with him, or whatever"
"I know, but I'd not want to go back right now, but I haven't heard much from him, and would just like to know how he is." she looked down to the table in fron of her
"Well if you don't want to go alone we can take you sometime"
Violet nodded. "Thank you" she said before leaving the room
Emma sighed when she left
"Well that might be a problem" Regina aaid quietly
"It might be"
"Hope it won't and in a way, I hope she would stay."
"I know. We can't make her stay though. But she might not stay there"
"I know she'll make her choise, I just hope for her best." she said and turned to face Emma
Emma gave her a soft kiss "it will be okay"
"At some point." she said and pecked her lips. "So I go and chance so we can go outside"
"Okay" Emma smiled and went to wait by the door
Regina went upstairs to make a quick chance, coming downstairs in much more comftable clothes, and her hair braided. "How would walk close the forest sound like"
"It sounds great" Emma took her hand as they walked out the door
Regina walked close, hand in hand with Emma
Emma smiled, she was happy to be out with Regina again
