Emma didn't finish and pushed it towards Regina and kissed her cheek "Very good"
Regina smiled and then looked at the food. "Is everything okayn you ate quite little."
"Yea, just not that hungry this morning" Emma gave her a smile
Regina looked at Emma not sure what to say. She kissed Emma's forehead softly before she got up
"Everything okay?" Emma looked at her not yet getting up
"Yes, you just not act exactly like yourself, I thought it was just you being nervous" she said as she moved the tray to her nightstand.
Emma looked down a bit then back to Regina "I'm sorry" she got up and kissed her cheek ignoring her turning stomach
"I'm just slightly worried" she said looking into her eyes
"Don't. Everything's okay" emma gave her a hug then let go to get dressed
Regina just gave her a small nod and dressed up for work
"I'll talk to you tonight. I love you so much" emma gave her a kiss after she had gotten dressed
"I love you too, please tell me if you start to feel unwell again" she said and gave her a kiss
Emma gave a nod and kissed her back before leaving. She didn't go straight to the station, she went home first as it was closer and couldn't hold her stomach anymore
Regina left to work, stiln worried over Emma. She areived and knew she had a long day ahead
Emma felt better after a little bit and went to the station for the rest of the day
Regina worked and already missed their vacation
Emma was dreading all the paperwork. David had done a lot, but he could only do so much alone while she was gone
Regina sighed when she had already been work eight hours and there seemed no end to it
Emma eventually just left everything and went home. She was tired and missing the time away.
Regina left when it was closer to ten again. She went home and let out a sigh when she stepped in
Henry and Violet had fallen asleep on the couch in each other's arms with the tv on. Emma layed in her bed after making something to eat and watched a movie on her phone feeling lonely
Regina went to turn off the TV but didn't dare to wake them up. She went to her study to read with a glass of wine, it was too quiet there for her liking, not even other persons breathing
Emma finished her movie and texted Regina "miss you so much"
"I miss you too, it's so lonely here"
"It's even more lonely here"
"I really hate not having you here 24/7"
"I hate not being with you. No one here keeping me warm at night"
"My bed is also so cold without you. The mansion can be bit chilly"
"Someday I'll be there so we can keep each other warm"
"All the time" she smiled
"Try to have a good sleep. I love you so much"
"You too, I love you just as much"
Emma smiled and put her phone away. She cuddled up with the pillow under her arm and looked at the picture she had of Regina beside her bed before closing her eyes and falling asleep as she was really tired
Regina walked to her bedroom and went underbed, she was so glad that Emma had soend last night there, because now she could smell Emma on the sheets and fall asleep thinking she was near
Emma slept through the night, but missed Regina every moment even though she was asleep. She got up and made sme coffee and feeling the same way she had the couple days before
Regina got up groaning of the feel of empty bed. She got up and took a shower then went downstairs
Emma emptied her stomach then took a cold shower and got ready to go to the station. She got her jacket and left going to grannys for another coffee
Regina made breakfast for the kids and went to Granny's whe smiled when she saw Emma she walked to her and kissed her cheek. "Morning"
"Morning beautiful" emma smiled widely seeing her and took her hand lacing heir fingers together
"Morning gorgeus" she said and kissed her cheek and sat down next to her. "How are you this morning?"
"I'm fine, and you?" Emma pecked her lips
"I'm fine, missed you" she said and kissed Emma again. It felt somehow bit different
"I missed you too. A lot" emma smiled to her but it faded a bit "is everything alright?" She asked softly
