"If that's what you want to do. I could probably manage alone" emma said quietly
"You could manage, but I know you don't want to be alone."
"Okay" emma nodded
"I'll be back in hour." She sighed as she stood up.
"I'll be here" emma got up wrapping a blanket around herself and kissed Reginas cheek
"Good, you know where you can find everything. I pick up the breakfast from Granny's." She said before she leaves
Emma went downstairs after Regina left and layed down on the couch
Regina went to her office and picked up her papers. and then went to Granny's. She really hoped the pirate had kept his mouth shut
It was still early enough there were only few people in the diner at the time. Emma heard the kids up and in the kitchen but didn't get up

Regina got the order quickly then more people started to come in, a few giving her looks
Regina grabbed the food and left quickly, she kind of hoped that she would know exactly why people looked her like that, right now she oped they just thought she was the evil queen and not because of Emma. she drove home and walked in
Emma heard Regina come in but didn't sit up knowing she would feel the best laying down for a while
Regina looked around for a while, before she found Emma on the couch."How are you feeling?" She asked as she sat down next to her
"I don't know" emma sighed and sat up a bit
Regina nodded and handed her bag from Granny's
Emma gave her a short kiss and took a bit of food out
Regina took her coffee sipping it looking at Emma
"What are you looking at me for?" Emma asked taking a small bite
"Do I need a reason. it's hard not to" shse said with small smile
Emma kissed her cheek and took a sip of coffee
Regina leaned against the arm rest and kept drinking her coffee
"Gonna eat anything?" Emma raised an eyebrow
"I'm not really hungry." She said with a small smile
Emma rolled her eyes and put her coffee and food she had left on the coffee table and layed back down
Regina put her empty coffee cup away and rested her head on Emma's hip
Emma sighed and put her fingers through Regina's hair
Regina softly caressed Emma's legs as she layed there
"I love you" emma said quietly
"I love you too." She said quietly and kissed her hip
"Where's my gun" emma asked and closed her eyes
"Hook doesn't have it" she said
"Will you give it back anytime soon?"
"No if you don't actually need it."
"Well there is that thing I do around here for a living"
"And when have you actually needed that gun, I don't think Grumpy is that bad."
Emma hit her arm lightly "Well I like having my gun so be quiet"
"I will give it to you soon, but not yet"
"Fine" emma groaned
Regina gave her a small laugh and kissed her hip
Emma sat up a bit and looked down at Regina softly stroking her hair
Regina moved her head to rest on Emma's lap and gave her a smile
Emma leaned down to give her a soft kiss
Regina kissed her back for the short moment.
"Why did you work so late. You normally just quit at some point even if you have things to do?" Emma asked while putting her fingers through her hair
"I really wanted to get them done." She said and looked at her. "And I didn't want to sleep.." she turned to look away
"Why?" Emma asked kind of concerned looking at her softly
"Emma you know I get nightmares quit easily when something happens, and my mind works too much for me"
Emma leaned down to kiss her head "I know. But you shouldn't be having any nightmares about this" emma said softly
"Maybe not nightmares, but memoriesI want to forget"
Emma nodded "I hope you don't get any but tonight I really want you to get some real sleep"
"We'll see" She sighed, she had always been a bad sleeper
Emma side and put her fingers through her own hair closing her eyes for a moment
Regina let herself relax a bit on her lap
Emma kept stroking Reginas hair liking to see her relax a bit while she tried to push everything out of the way in her mind
