"You don't need to apologize you did nothing wrong" she said hugging him
"It shouldn't have happened to you mom"
"But it did, and we can't do anything about the past"
He let go of her and nodded slightly
"Now you need to go to school, don't worry about me okay, it's over"
"Okay mom" he gave her another hug and him and Violet left for school but didn't say anything to Emma as he went by
Regina let out a sigh and saw Emma for the first time. "Sorry I didn't mean to tell" she said pacing a bit in the kitchen
Emma came and wrapped her arms around Regina "I'm sorry he found out"
Regina wrapped her arms around Emma. "He knows now" she said and rested her head on Emma's shoulder
Emma sighed "now what do we do" she asked and kissed her shoulder
"We do nothing I don't we can do anything"
"Okay" Emma kissed her cheek "Can we go back to the couch?"
"Yes " she said and leaded them back on the couch and sat down
Emma curled up with her head in Reginas lap again
Regina kissed Emma's temple. "This will pass"
"I hope so" emma sighed and took Reginas hand lacing their fingers together
"Like we promised we will get through this together" she said and kissed their laced hands
"I know" emma kissed her leg again burrying her face into her lap
Regina kissed her forehead and caressed her hair
Being with Regina was more calming. But now emma had more worries once again
"Tell me what's in your mind" she said looking down at her, seeing the worry
"Just everything. I was hoping things would get better and stay better" she said quietly
"I know but we have ups and downs every now and then, and this wasn't that bad"
"I know. Just a bit of a downer"
"I understand" she sighed
Emma turned to face her and kissed the back of her hand
"I love tou" she said softly
"I love you too" emma said quietly
Regina layed down and layed Emma's head on her chest
Emma kissed her shoulder cuddling into her
Regina wrapped her arms around Emma's body
Emma put her arm around Regina. She felt much safer in her arms
Regina looked at the flickering fireplace that was still burning, it did help as did Emma's presens
Emma ran her fingertips lightly along Reginas skin just under the bottom of her shirt on her back
Small smile appeared on the corbed of her mouth. "That feels nice"
Emma slightly smiled and kissed her jaw still running her fingers along her skin
Regina let her body actually relax under Emma's touch. Her own hand was still caressing Emma's hair her other laying on her waist
Emma closed her eyes to focus on the sound Reginas breathing and heartbeat
Regina layed there and let Emms to feel safe in her arms, holding her protectively
Emma placed a few kisses on her chest, neck, and jaw very once and a while
Every soft kiss made Regina smile a bit. She kissed Emma's head every now and then hand never leaving her hair
"I love you Regina" emma said quietly looking up to her
"And I love you Emma" she said auietly and gave her a soft kiss
Emma softly kissed her nack before burrying her head back into her
Regina layed there and finally closed her own eyes taking deep calm breaths
Emma just focused on Regina and stayed in her arms
Regina stayed there for an hour or so just holding Emma, and getting comfort from the blond. She softly kissed Emma's forehead. "I should start working soon"
Emma sighed quietly "okay" she sat up to let up Regina
Regina sat up hands resting on Emma's waist. "You can come to the study if you want to keep me company"
"Okay" Emma kissed her cheek and got up taking her hand
Regina stood up and walked them up to her study
Emma gave her a kiss before going to sit down
Regina took her work on the table and started to go through it
Emma curled up and closed her eyes for a bit
Regina watched her as she worked wanting to be sure she was okay
Emma fell into a light sleep for a few minutes but woke up again
Regina looked at her. "Are you okay?" she asked looking at her conserned
"Yeah. I'm fine" emma gave her a small smile
Regina nodded and turned back to her work
