Regina sipped her tea Violet had kindly brought them. She tried to stay looking as awake as she could due the lack of sleep. She waited him sign the papers knowing it would take some time as there were quite many of them. There was also few consediring Violet's healt as she had came from Camelot and she needed to have her check up
It took a while and he took his time signing the papers but eventually finished
Regina gathered the papers back. "So do you want to stay here for a while?" she asked feom Violet
"A little while" she said
"Do you want me to pick you up later?" she asked as she stood up
"I can walk" she gave her a smile
"Okay see you then, not come too late and make us worry" she gave her a gentle smile and walked to the door
Violet's father rolled his eyed ad she lett. Emma worked hard at the station trying to fjnish
Regina drove home and went to took a glass of cider and rwlax on the couch for a moment
Emma took a small break and went to get coffee
The diner was pretty quiet, there still was few people, and when she walked in few people turned to look at her and started talking
She sighed and sat down to drink her coffee
Most of the people didn't mind Emma being there. But few spoke, and she could hear small parts the conversations. Fraces as Evil Queen, cursed, something about Hook flew pass someones mouth
She drank her coffee quickly and got another one to take back to the station and tried to ignore all of the talk
Regina was done with her drink after a while and desided to take a small walk before getting back to work. She said and went outside to walk
After a while Violet came back to the mansion. Emma worked till after dark then finally went home
Regina got back and just made sure the visit had went well after she had left
She said it was fine but her father kept asking her to stay home
"So have you thought when you're going back home?" she asked as she fixed coffee for herself for the work
"maybe a little while after you and Emma get back from your vacation" she told her
"Okay, till then just try to have good time here." she smiled and finished poring her coffee
"alright" she gave her a smile before going upstairs
Regina took her coffee to her study and started to go through her endless feeling work
emma got home and sprawled out onto her bed letting out a huge sigh as she was gkad ti be home
Regina groaned when she had already worked for hour and still had more.
emma went and put her jcket on to go out and texted Regina "busy?"
"Not really, only stuck with work." she answered
"was wondering if you would want to come to grannys for a drink with me"
"In half an hour?" she texted, she needed to chance her clothes as she was in her home clothes.
"yeah, ill meet you there" she smiled and left walking
Regina made last part of her work thst was open on her desk and chanced her clothes. She made her way to Granny's, arriving bit before their planned time
Emma smiled as she saw Regina come in and she had already started on her first drink
Regina walked to her and gave her a kiss. "Well someone started before me" she said as she sat down next to her
emma kissed her back "didn't think you would mind too much"
"Well I had mine few hours ago" she said as she ordered her drink
"well then I should catch up" she downed her drink and ordered another
Regina chuckled and started with her drink, feeling the alcohol burn her throat
emma got up and took her hand taking them over to a booth
Regina sat next to Emma, just wanting to be close.
emma put her arm around her waist nd pulled her close "how was your day?" she kissed her cheek
Regina took a sip from her drink. "It was workful. Yours?"
"Long" emma sipped on hers
"Oh and I took Violet to see her father"
"im assuming it went well as you didn't bring it up before?"
"It seemed to, just few mean glares toward me"
"well thats pretty good then" emma laughed a little
Regina smiled and ordered an other drink as the firts one was done.
emma got another as she was almost done hers. "so nothing else interesting happen today?"
