Regina looked at Emma and kissed her jaw. "We'll get away soon"
"I can't wait" emma kissed her forehead
"I promise this won't stay like this too long" she said quietly as she knew Emma felt like something was off
"What is it though" emma looked at her
"It's me" she said and rested her head on Emma's chest so she didn't need to look at her
Emma wrapped her arms around her "Do you still love me Regina..." Emma asked quietly
"Of corse I do" she said socked and lifted her head to look at her. "Why would you ever think I don't?"
"I don't know. It just hasn't felt this off in a long time." She looked at Regina
Regina bit her lip out of guilt. She hated to lie to Emma, she couldn't it would hurt her too much. Regina didn't say anything she just took Emma's hand and guided it over her chest where her heart was supposed to be beating under her hand.
Emma felt her warm skin but her soft heartbeat wasn't there. "Regina why did you take it out?" She asked softly
"I couldn't take it in the morning, I was getting too deep, too tempted"
Emma gave her a soft kiss "I could have helped you"
"I didn't want to bother you." she said quietly
"You never bother me. I'm always here for you no matter what" Emma said softly
"I know, but it was also so early"
"I was up. I didn't get much sleep"
"I didn't know for sure.." she said and felt slughtly ashamed not to ask her or at least telling earlier
Emma pulled her close hugging her tightly
Regina hold Emma close. "I'm sorry"
"Don't be" emma kissed her head
"I know this might have hurt you" she said kissing her chest
"I just wish you would have said something"
"I know, I should have told you earlier" she said sadly
"I love you so much. You scared me a bit"
"I never wanted to do that." she said and kissed her love apologizing
Emma kissed her back softly and put her fingers through her hair
One tear escaped and fall down to Emma's cheek.
"Hey its okay..." Emma said softly and kissed her cheek
"I hate to hurt you" she said looking at Emma with sad eyes
"I know" emma gave her a very small smile
Regina pecked her lips softly before she sat and breathed slowly few times eyes closed before a box appeared to her hand
Emma sat up and softly rubbed her back then kissed her cheek
She opened the lid and took Emma's hand. She put the heart on Emma's hand. "You can choose, do what ever you want with it." she let Emma choose if it was back inside her chest or not
Emma gave her heart a soft kiss before trying to be as gentle as she could putting it back in her chest "it belongs in there"
Regina let out a gasp as she pushed it in. "It didn't hurt like normally putting a heart back
Emma gave her a soft kiss "I wanted to be gentle"
"You were" she said as she felt her emotions hit fully back. She felt sad, but Emma's lips replaced the feelings with warmth
"I love you so much" she said softly
"I love you too" she said an kissed Emma, her love now pure toward her
Emma kissed her with all her love
Regina wrapped her arms around Emma as she deepened the kiss
Emma pulled her so close against her
"Thank you for bringing this up"
"Thanks for letting me put your heart back"
"I can trust you with it, and to protect it"
"Always" emma kissed her softly
Regina kissed her back, just as softly
Emma smiled to her lips in the soft kiss and stroked her hair
Regina had her arms around her body
emma broke the kiss and pecked her lips
"I love you so much"

Regina smiled and pecked her lips. "Just for you to know, you'rennot the only one who thinsk we have true love."
"have you been talking to my mother?" emma raised her eyebrow
"Yes." she smiled. "And I agree with you and her"
"good" emma smiled and pecked her lips again
Regina smiled and rested her forehead against Emma's
emma looked in her eyes happy to see all of her love again and tucked some hair behind her ear
Regina was caught up in Emma's eyes, looking at her emotions like in the open book
emma took her hand and gave a light squeeze
Regina smuled and gave her a smile
