So finally, Harry finds out how he knows Ashley.

By the time Ashley left her uncle, her aunt was sitting in the waiting room talking with Harry.

"Hello, dear. How is he?"

"He's concerned about the contracts, but I reassured him that by the time I get back, everything would be under control," said Ashley.

"I don't think you have anything to worry about. I heard part of a conversation between her and a vendor. She's tough," said Harry.

"Our Ashley is no pushover," said Margarite pointedly.

"Point taken," said Harry smiling.

"If you are leaving in the morning, you should probably go home and get yourself ready," suggested Margarite.

"I hate leaving," said Ashley.

"Dear, you are the logical person to go. I have to be here for your uncle. We can't have management staff away with Raymond out of commission. Go. Everything will be fine. Try to enjoy Seattle," said Margarite standing to give Ashley a tight hug and kiss. "Harry, we'll see you soon."

"Absolutely. I'll be up for a visit with Raymond."

"Goodbye you two."

"Goodbye," they said simultaneously.

"Are you okay?" asked Harry when they were outside the hospital.

"Honestly?"

"Yes."

"Not really. What if something terrible happens and I'm miles away?"

"I'll be here and I promise I'll do whatever I can," Harry assured her.

"Thank you," she said stopping to give him a hug. "You have no idea how much this means to me."

"I'm glad to help. Would you like to get take out before we go hom . . . to your house?" he asked.

"Sounds good. Is there something that you'd like in particular?" she asked.

"I'm not a picky eater."

"What about that deli not far from the donut shop?"

"Perfect," he said.

They stopped by the deli and each selected what they wanted. Harry brought in the small bags while Ashley started the teapot brewing. By the time she'd gotten everything out on the counter, Harry had already unpacked the bags and was getting plates from the cabinets.

"This fruit salad looks delicious," he said grabbing a piece of melon and popping it in his mouth. "Want to try it?" He reached back into the container and pulled out another piece of melon. When she reached for it, he shook his head and offered her the melon from between his fingers. Once she had the melon in her mouth, he licked the two fingers while watching for her reaction.

Ashley turned her back to him pretending to be busy with the tea. She felt him come up behind her. "I'm going to miss you."

"You've only just met me," she said glancing over her shoulder.

"Doesn't matter. I told you earlier that I really like you. Do you like me even a little?" he asked remaining close behind her.

"When I first met you, I thought I was too good for you. After these last couple of days, I think you are too good for me. The situation reminds me of the dynamic between Derek and I. It will come to no good for you Harry. I don't do well . . . I . . ."
