Ashley look around the master bedroom of the London flat and smiled at the memories crowding into her head. Her aunt and uncle had convinced her to extend her trip since much of it had been spent working. She and Harry had traveled back from France to Holmes Chapel for a visit with his family for several days. They'd then decided to spend the remainder of their time in London without any real schedule.
They went out if they felt like it, stayed in if they wanted, and continued to get to know one another. Ashley could not remember ever feeling so close to anyone, not even her aunt and uncle. She had mixed feelings about going back home. Although she missed her family and friends, even work, she was afraid of losing all they'd worked for while in London.
"You're not on your feet yet?" he asked with a laugh.
"I'm getting there. I was just trying to decide how I feel about going home."
"Do you want to stay here?" he asked excitedly.
"It's just that I love us. I love what our relationship has become over these last few weeks. I don't want to lose that."
"Sweetheart, we aren't going to lose anything," he said sitting down on the bed. "Come here." She pushed back the covers and straddled Harry's lap. "We've grown so close, baby. Everything will be fine."
"I . . . Okay."
"Okay. Now, into the shower with you," he said standing and setting her feet on the floor.

"Ashley!" said Margarite pulling her niece close. "We have missed you so much, dear."
"There's my girl," said Raymond.
"Uncle Raymond, how are you? You look great!" she said hugging him.
"How was the flight?" asked Raymond.
"Long," sighed Ashley.
"Oh goodness. I bet you are ready to fall into the bed," said Margarite.
"I truly am. The time change is such an adjustment."
"Well, darling, you look amazing!"
"I feel really great. We spent a lot of time relaxing and just doing whatever we liked. We saw several of Harry's close friends and his family. Everyone was wonderful."
"Here are your keys and there's the mail. You go get some rest and I'll have a late dinner ready for you in a bit. Should I set a place for Harry?"
"Can I let you know later?"
"Of course," said Margarite.
"Thank you both for everything," said Ashley hugging each of them.

All Ashley really wanted to do was fall into bed for what was left of the day. She put the key in the door for the second time and turned. All of her cases were exactly where the driver had left them. She and Harry had reluctantly decided he would be dropped off separately to ensure they got some things done before evening.
He had texted her before the car was even out of the neighborhood to tell her how much he missed her. She was trying to respond to Kristen and Steve who had texted before her flight landed. Within minutes, Harry texted several question marks. Ashley decided to quickly text her aunt before responding. Before she could do so, Harry called.
"Are you ignoring me?" he asked.
"No. I had several texts to answer and I needed to get a message to my aunt."
