Harry stepped out to get some air and make several phone calls while members of teams were interviewed and photographed. He ordered several arrangements of congratulatory flowers and chocolates and champagne from the French Burgundy region to be delivered to Ashley's hotel. He quickly texted a surprised Colin about a late celebratory breakfast the following morning.

When he returned to the room, Ashley was proudly watching the Russo team as they talked with the magazine interviewer. The wine master and several others were unmistakably French, but other accents indicated the team was also made up of Americans. As the photographer took over, the wine master motioned for Ashley to join. She vigorously shook her head. He walked off the platform and took Ashley by the hand leading her into the center of the group as a photography assistant organized them into a standing and seated group.

Although Ashley smiled brightly, Harry knew she wasn't happy about the photos. As soon as they were released, Ashley walked toward Harry and asked if he would come down to the lower level with her to get some water.

"Dinner is in 10 minutes. Won't they have water?" he asked.

"I just need a few quiet minutes. I'm afraid I'm overly tired and we still have the auction."

"Would you like to go to the hotel?"

"I absolutely cannot miss the auction, Harry."

Once they were in the elevator, Ashley hugged him excitedly. "Can you believe it?" she said breathlessly.

He squeezed her tightly. "Congratulations, sweetheart. I am very happy for you."

"Thank you, Harry. Thank you for being here."

"Of course."

Harry had met several individuals during the hour-long dinner. He had listened intently as various individuals talked about their roles in the vineyard, winery, promotion, and sales. A few knew who he was and asked about the upcoming movie release and other roles he was considering. Ashley loved his easy way with people, his charm, his charisma. Their eyes met frequently even though they were not seated next to one another.

After tables were cleared of everything except wine and water glasses, the auctioneer took over. By the end, Harry was the proud owner of a case of sauvignon blanc and the Russo pinot noir. The bidding had been good-natured with participants driving up prices knowing that most of the money would go to the chosen charity of each group. Ashley had explained that they would be donating everything to an organization that provided education opportunities to American students in underserved communities.
