"Glad you could make it back," said Kristen.

"Sorry, a little encounter in the hallway."

"Harry?"

"Yes.

"What did he say?"

"That he'd pick me at 7:00 tonight."

"That's it?"

"He kissed me."

"Lucky you," said Kristen.

"How about lucky him?"

"That too."

"We need to get moving or we're going to be late for our appointments."

Ashley stepped out of the tub to see who was knocking at the door. Wrapped in a towel, she glanced into the peephole to see Harry waiting.

"You're early," she called out. I'm not dressed yet."

"All the more reason you should let me in."

She paused for a moment before opening the door.

"You should always greet me at the door dressed in a towel."

"Why are you here so early?"

"No hello? No kiss?" he asked.

"Hello," she said and turned to walk away.

"Come here, please," he said taking her arm and pulling her close. She allowed herself to rest against him. "May I have a kiss?" he asked.

She raised up her chin to bring her lips closer to his and closed her eyes. He waited for a moment before touching his mouth to hers.

"Have you been eating strawberries?"

"I have," she whispered. He kissed her again.

"You taste delicious."

"So do you," she said smiling.

"Were you finished with your shower?"

"I was actually soaking in the tub?"

"Want company?"

"Thank you but no," she said.

"What am I supposed to do with myself while you get ready?"

"You didn't answer my question. Why are you here so early?"

"I missed you today," he said nuzzling her neck.

"No you didn't."

"Of course I did."

"You didn't call or text," she said.

"I was trying to give you some space. You missed not hearing from me didn't you?" he said smiling triumphantly.

Ashley poked him in the side causing him to jump. She turned and walked toward the kitchen before he could tighten his arms around her again.

"Want something to drink?"

"Ashley," he said from directly behind her. "I had a very difficult time keeping my mind off of you today. Did you happen to think of me at all?"

She thought carefully before she answered him and decided against teasing. "I missed hearing from you today."

"Thank you," he said hugging her tightly.

"I really have to get showered off and start getting ready."

"What time is everyone meeting up?"

"After 9."

"It's just after 5:00. We could eat much later and have some time for one another," he said.
