Neither said much as they pulled from the parking garage. Once they were on the main road, Harry turned his attention to Ashley. He was increasingly concerned about whether this trip was a good idea for her.
                              "Ashley . . ."
                              "Do not say it."
                              "What?"
"You're going to ask me whether this trip is a good idea considering how long I've been ill and I am going to answer you the same way I answered the doctor."
"Don't you think your aunt and uncle would like to be involved in this decision?"
"Harry, if I don't do this, we can't ensure the quality nor the costs of our wine offerings for the holidays. Our selection is one of the reasons patrons come to our restaurant. We pull in some of our highest revenue during October, November and December. You have to understand."
                              "Then let me help you."
"No offense but what do you know about wine."
"Okay, then. I wasn't exactly talking about the festival."
                              "What then?"
"I'll take care of everything else. All you'll need to do is get yourself ready in the mornings and go. I can arrange, meals, drivers, comfort, relaxation."
"Harry, it's not like I'm destitute. I can do all those things for myself."
"Yes but that takes time and energy."
"Can we talk about it later?"
                              "Of course."
                              ****
Harry reluctantly dropped Ashley off at her house before heading home to pack and take care of several things that needed his attention before he left. He couldn't stop thinking ahead to the free time they'd share during this trip. He'd already made plans for their one-month anniversary. Some might think it's a bit cliché, but they'd been through a lot, and with Ashley, one month was an accomplishment.
He hadn't been able to decide whether to approach her about spending some time at his home in London. His family would be joining him in London for several days. He'd spend time with them while Ashley was at the festival and Ashley would join them for a couple of dinners. He didn't want to overwhelm her, but his family was looking forward to getting to know her.
