Ashely realized she wouldn't be needing an alarm clock when she woke up close to 6 AM with an excruciating headache. The immediate crush of the crowd of thoughts from the night before intensified the pain she felt. She groped around for the bottle of Tylenol she remembered leaving on her nightstand before going to bed and popped off the cap. The tablets were on her tongue before she realized she'd drained the glass of water a few hours earlier.

Racing to the bathroom, she cupped her hand under the faucet to gather enough water to wash down the bitter pills. "That's disgusting," she said out loud. She added a drop of toothpaste to the bristles of her toothbrush and vigorously swiped at her tongue in an attempt to remove the remaining bitter taste.

Pressing her aching temples, she made her way back to the bed but found sitting up was far preferable to the pressure created by laying down. She put on her glasses and picked up the phone to check her messages and emails. Reminders from her calendar notified her of the need to nail down details about the sessions and tastings she wanted to attend at the upcoming festival. A message from her aunt asked her to call when she got up. The email was all business related. She laid back against the headboard, closed her eyes, and attempted to will the headache away.

"Good morning, dear," Margarite said to Ashley when she walked in.

"Good morning," replied Ashley kissing her aunt on the cheek. "How is our patient today?" she asked smiling down at her uncle.

"Ready to go home," he said. "I had a nice visit with Harry this morning. Short, but nice."

"Really?"

"Yes, he was on his way to the studio and had a little time. Said he just wanted to stop by and say hello."

"I see."

"Is something wrong?" asked her uncle.

"No, nothing."

"Dear, we need to set aside time to determine what you need for your trip," said her aunt.

"Aunt Margarite, my closet is full of clothes."

"Yes, but this is your first trip to London and the first wine festival on your own."

Ashley did not respond knowing it was a lost cause. She resigned herself to setting a date and time for shopping. Her uncle smiled and winked at her as she tucked her phone back into her purse after setting a reminder on her calendar.

"So, we need to talk about the festival. I'm not sure what sessions or tastings to register for," she said taking a folder from the side of her over-sized purse and handing it to him. Pulling out her laptop, she sat in a chair next to the bed.

Her aunt and uncle guided her through the selection process in under an hour. It would probably have taken her an entire day to try and ferret through the offerings without the benefit of their experience.

"I want you to have some fun, Ashley," said her aunt.

"I have a list of wineries to choose from, so . . ."

"I mean fun, fun."

"I will. There's lots to see. I've looked into a couple of tours. Besides, Paris will be beautiful. It will be good to see everyone. It's been a very long time since I've seen them."

"The vineyards won't be much to see at this time of the year, but you'll enjoy the relaxation," said her uncle. "But back to the having actual fun. I think your aunt is talking more about the fact that Harry plans to travel with you to London."
