A/N: Sorry for the wait....and sorry for this chapter not being that long. I've been so caught up with school and I felt bad for not uploading sooooo i figured something was better than nothing.... anyway enjoy :)

Once dinner was over I helped Mom with the dishes and everyone else went off to do their own thing. Dad had some work to do while Cassy still had to finish homework and Tyler was giving Elena a bath.

"I'm putting Elena to bed you coming?" Tyler asked sometime later on. I looked up from the project I was working on for school with my mother.

"I'll be back Mom."  She got up just as I did and walked over to give Elena a kiss on the head.

"We'll finish tomorrow. Good night." She said before walking off towards Dad's office. I smiled a small smile at Tyler as I took Elena from him and brought her up stairs so that I could dress her in her pajama's and put her to sleep.

"Good night baby girl." Tyler said with a kiss to her head. I smiled down at her and put her in her crib where she started to cry. My daughter stood up in her crib and held her arms out to me.

"Elena don't do this. You really need to go to sleep."

Tyler walked closer to pick her up, but I held out my arm to keep him back.

"Brooky what are you..."

"Mom said I used to do this. Come on." I turned him around and pushed him from the room.

"So basically we just have to let her cry herself to sleep?" I turned and looked at the cracked door.

"I wish we didn't, but she needs to learn to sleep on her own." I told him. He sighed as nodded.

"Yeah I guess you're right. Let's get some sleep, I know we'll both be up in a few hours when she wakes up again."

"Yeah." I told him as I walked backwards to my room. Once I got to the door I looked anywhere that wasn't him. "Okay well, ummm... good night Tyler."

"Good night Brooklynn." He replied while I disapeared into my room.

After forty-five minues of Elena's whinying coming through the baby monitor I got up to get her, but I noticed Tyler was standing outside her door. I tilted my head to the side in a questioning way.

"Yes I know what you're doing here." He smirked. "I'm just making sure you don't go back on what you said."

I hung my head, but then looked up and smiled at him. "I can't stand her crying like this."

"Well good because she isn't crying anymore." He said as he jerked his head towards the door. "Take a look." I opened the door and smiled at Elena's sleeping form. "She stopped crying after you left your room." He whispered while wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

"All right love birds go to bed now." Cassy said sleepily from behind us as she pulled both of us back by our shirts. Ty's arm dropped as he was pushed in the opposite direction from me. My cousin cracked Elena's door before she went back into her room across the hall. Once her door closed I looked up at Tyler to see him leaning against his door frame with his arms crossed and a smirk on his face again.

Just to be random I stuck my tounge out at him with my eyes closed. Suddenly he was in front of me with a hand over my mouth as he pushed me into my room. My shocked scream was muffled by his hand while he shut my door.

"Now Cassy told you it was time for you to go to bed." He informed me.

I laughed in his face. "I'm not a kid Ty."

"Mhhhm sure."

"Fine, I'm not our daughter."

He smiled as he pushed me back to where he could push me onto my bed and put the covers over me. "I know I've said this before, but I like it when you say 'our daughter'. It's lovely."

I laughed again. Tyler climbed under the comforter, but not the sheets and he hugged me close to him.

I was up early the next morning due to cramps. They hadn't been this bad since the first time I had my period after I had Elena and Micheal. So instead of waking Tyler up, I quickly got out of bed and into my bathroom as quietly as I could. After a nice long shower, taking some midol and putting on my clothes for today I found myself in Elena's room. She was wake when I got in there.

"Morning baby girl." I whispered.

She smiled. "Ma...ma." I almost froze. "Ma...ma." She said again and I squealled like the little girl I secretly am. Tyler rushed into the room a few seconds later to find me lightly bouncing Elena on my hip as I wrote down in a baby book what her first complete word was and when it happened.

"Did I miss something?" He asked sleepily.

"She said mama!" I squealled again. Tyler face lit up just as Elena pointed at me and said 'mommy' yet again.

I smiled at Tyler as I looked towards the clock on the wall of Elena's room.

"Ty the time." I said urgently as I rushed into my room. After putting Elena in the play pen I hurridly got into my room and was in the bathroom putting my make-up on when someone came in.

"I swear my eyes are closed." Tyler said.

"It's alright I'm just finnishing up my make-up." He picked Elena up and bounced her on his hip standing in the doorway of my bathroom. I could see him watching me through the mirror. "Could you please go get her something to eat. We wasted to much time with her this morning."

"I know."

"Don't forget her vitamins."

"Yeah I know." His retreating form said.

"And don't give her to much fruit!"

"Whatever Brooklynn." Came Tyler's teasing voice from the hallway. I smiled for a second at the empty door-frame before continuing to finish getting ready. As I bounded down the stairs I noticed Elena standing on the last step with a bottle in hand.

"Hey baby." I greated as I picked her up.  "Mom..."

She interupted me as she walked into the room. "Go to school Booklynn." Mom scolded as she took my daughter away.

"Ma!" Elena screamed as she reach out for me, dropping her bottle in the process. "Ma." Tears formed in my daughter's eyes and I tried to grab her from my mom, but Tyler walked into the room and wrapped his arms around me in an effective way of getting me out of the house. He made sure I was in the car before he got into the driver's side. I stared out the window as we drove to school with my daughter's cries for me running through my head.

"Brook stop. She's fine."

"I'm not so sure. Ty my baby girl doesnt do that. In fact the last time she fussed about me leaving was when she got sick before her birthday. When I stayed home from school for those few days. I don't know why she's doing this and it's bugging me."

"Brook she's fine."

"Maybe you're right."

"I am." He said with a smirk and I rolled my eyes at his cockiness.
